Had a really great group serving as House pages last week from ⁦@NeshobaCentral⁩. They worked some long hours on a deadline week and saw lots of good debate and action on the ⁦@MSHouseOfRep⁩ floor. Appreciate Speaker ⁦@JasonWhiteMS⁩ taking time to visit.

Senator Lane Taylor and I had a super visit today with students, parents and teachers from the Union Public School District TAG class. Thank you Ms. Goss for bringing an outstanding group to their Capitol and allowing us to share with them !

Wow! A big day for Neshoba County! Much thanks to the community for providing hundreds of letters of support, ⁦@MDWFPonline⁩ and the MS Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund Board. A truly worthy project that checked so many boxes for worthiness! Excited for the work to start 💪

We had a great NASC Sportsman-Legislator Summit in Memphis! We had over 320 attendees, including 85 legislators from 25 states, conservation leaders, and more. A huge THANK YOU to all the sponsors who made this event possible, including presenting sponsor Ducks Unlimited.

Made sure I was on Santa’s 🎅🏻 list as I visited West Philadelphia Baptist Church’s annual Toy Drive. Huge event, with one goal…put gifts 🎁🎁in the hands of children who otherwise would not have them. WPBC and their congregation do it right 🎄!

TRCP Celebrates Removal of Public Land Sales from Budget Megabill Today, the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP) celebrates a critical win for America’s public lands: the removal of proposed public land sales from the Senate version of the budget reconciliation bill. This victory is a testament to the strength and unity of hunters, anglers, outdoor advocates, and conservation-minded lawmakers who stood up for what’s right. “Hunters and anglers made it abundantly clear that reconciliation is not the appropriate vehicle for public land sales,” said Joel Pedersen, president and CEO of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership. “Public lands are a cornerstone of our national heritage, our outdoor traditions, and the economies of countless communities across the country.
