@TheView Why is Sunny Hostin so obsessed with race? Does she have any other identity but the color of her skin? And why is she concerning herself with a football player who has nothing to do with her and didn't mention race at all? Isn't that all she's concerned about?

Unpopular opinion: Starbucks coffee is bitter and gross, no matter how many pumps of sweetener you put in.

@monsterhunter45 Kripke has the mentality of a 15 year old boy. At least with Supernatural he was reined in by Network standards and couldn't make it so gross and sickening. I only made it thru 2 seasons of The Boys when I decided I couldn't stomach it anymore.

I watched season 1 of the Boys and I think the beginning of season 2, and the whole thing struck me as cruel, petty, and trying too hard to be edgy so I got bored, drifted off, and never bothered finishing it. From what I'm hearing I didn't miss anything. That's a bummer. I met Karl Urban once. He seemed like a nice guy. I hear the actor for Homelander did a great job with the shitty writing he was given.

@raven_brah You have no idea what you're talking about. McDonalds was a treat we got a few times a year or if we were on a road trip somewhere maybe once. Eating out at all was special and infrequent.

Boomers seem to forget that fast food used to be a normal, everyday expense for them because it was affordable. You could get a burger easily on minimum wage, it wasn’t some fancy treat you had once a year as a reward for pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.

@TheView Every time Sonny Hostin opens her mouth, she displays her ignorance. Trying to rewrite Greek history is a new low.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. The South is amazing. Imagine making absolutely zero progress in basically any area for 160 years. That's almost a talent.

In 2022, I ran for Congress in a majority-white district. In a crowded Republican primary, I was the only black candidate, and I won outright without a runoff. Why? Because Americans are capable of choosing the BEST candidate regardless of race. As evidenced by your post, just like much of your party, you seem to believe black Americans are politically monolithic. We’re NOT. Not every person of color shares your worldview, your policies, or your values. The recidivism we should actually be avoiding is sliding backward into a system where Americans are once again divided and categorized by race. That is EXACTLY what racial gerrymandering represents: Segregating people politically based on skin color while pretending it is moral progress. It’s bigotry cloaked in false moral outrage, and the American people can see it plainly.
Ro Khanna@RoKhanna

South Carolina, where the first shot of the civil war was fired, where 40 percent of those enslaved came through the Charleston port, is today engaged in an ugly recidivism to draw maps that will deny a Black person the chance to serve in Congress. The stakes could not be higher. Our political fight is not on a playground, but a moral battleground. We must stand for Black representation across the South.

@TheView I fail to understand how you can allow @JoyVBehar to make Trump's child program about race. Why would you put a negative spin on something that will benefit EVERY American child. You're discouraging people from taking advantage of a helpful program.

@MrShermichael @leddalhlwe He's doing it on purpose. I can't believe he's that stupid. Behind that smarmy smile, he's got a plan to bring down one of the biggest cities in the world. I don't think he believes anything he says. I honestly hope he's as stupid as he's acting.

Mamdani will run out of rich people to tax, and his utopia will fail to come into fruition. As I stated tonight, Mamdani’s philosophy is flawed and shortsighted. Socialism is great as long as it’s someone else’s money. Additionally, targeting Ken Griffin (@leddalhlwe) who has done more than many to add immense value to our society is just plain stupid.

@pslnational To use children for your agenda is just disgusting. The only statement you're making is that you care about politics more than you care about children and it's pathetic. Socialism kills economies and people.

@adammocklerr You are such a child. You have no idea what you are talking about. If you had been around when Iran took hostages and if you'd acknowledge the people they are executing rather than spewing liberal talking points, you might have credibility.

@TheFive I've been watching this show for a long time. Greg Guttfeld is insufferable. He's always been in love with the sound of his own voice but he has steadily gotten worse over time. I think having his own show has inflated his ego past tolerable levels.

@Here_s_Hoping Have a quilt or pillows for the family made out of them. My sister had pillows made out of my Mom's wedding dress.

Dilemma. What do I do with these embroidered pillowcases ? They were given to my mom at her wedding. They were embroidered by her grandma, my great great grandma. My mom never used them because /she “couldn’t ever replace them” after her grandma passed. She kept them in the linen closet in the house I grew up in. She gave them to me when I got married and yes, I’ve also kept them unused in my linen closet for 20 years. I don’t want to get rid of them (I won’t). Do I use them or keep them safely store me for future generations to not use, either?

Thank you to security, law enforcement, and US Secret Service for keeping everyone safe at tonight’s correspondents’ dinner. I’m grateful no one was hurt. Tonight is supposed to be about celebrating free speech — a foundational American value. Violence is the opposite of everything we stand for and it can never be tolerated.

It is a great relief that the President, First Lady and everyone in attendance at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner is safe following a terrifying act of violence inside the venue. The brave men and women of the United States Secret Service and local law enforcement are to be commended for their swift action to secure the scene and protect those present. As someone whose family has suffered political violence, my prayers are with the injured officer and all those affected by the trauma of these horrible incidents.

I am grateful that the President and all the guests from last night's event are safe, and no one was seriously injured. I thank first responders for their work. While an investigation is underway, we should all be clear that political violence has no place in America.
