After finding Loom lacking in usefulness for years, we created a remixed tool based off what worked and what we wanted. I have filmed over 2300 Looms and it is my #1 communication method with all of my teams. But you can't do anything other than film and send the link. 👇

Do y'all remember the olden times when we Claude Coded without auto mode or event accept edits mode? That was all the way back in three months ago.

@sapearl It's a Telegram bot hosted on Railway built with Claude Code. Telegram makes bot dev very simple.

@csakon Love this! What did you use to connect to telegram? Is this still Claude Code or are you using a Claw/Hermes agent?

My wife hired a travel agent for an upcoming trip. We paid $300 for an itinerary, but there was no flexibility and iterations took days or weeks. Once we got the itinerary, it was "book this now or lose it." Instead I threw our preferences in Claude and now have an app.

Here’s the *positive framing* for dogs vs kids in cities: Dogs are fine, good even, but there should be more babies “In the City, I want there to be so many babies, so many strollers - that it’s as common for you to see a stroller as it is for you to see someone walking a dog”

@YIMBYLAND I'd like to add a rider that dog feces should be considered a bio-hazard and comes with a hefty fine. I'm tired of my public park being overrun by dogs off leash preventing kids from playing.

In fact, we should probably just scrape all of Sunset and start over.

I will make a treaty with the Marina NIMBYs. We will cancel the Safeway tower project in exchange for carte blanche YIMBY control in the Sunset District.

Hundreds of #SanFrancisco Marina residents turned out this evening for townhall on controversial @Safeway housing plan, which would place what for many is an uncomfortably tall, 22 & 18 story project at the low-slung neighborhood’s waterfront. @sfchronicle

Currently watching Opus 5 redesign all my Shopify App Store listing images using Figma MCP, it's doing a much better job than I did! Very cool to watch Figma update live 👀

The best software over the next five years will come from people solving their specific problem, then opening it up for others to use. Product by committee will be defeated by one individual with a problem and access to powerful AI.

I've been doing a deep dive into our financials and have been using Claude Code to talk about the data I want to extract and why. Claude has been writing Stripe queries (sometimes 5 at a time) and I have been pasting the SQL into Sigma, saving the output, then giving it back to Claude. Then Claude writes more SQL and I copy/paste into Sigma again. I spent 10 hours straight Tuesday collabing with Claude and copy/pasted over 30 queries manually. I'd like Claude to write a query, execute the SQL through the MCP, and receive the output directly. That would allow Claude a faster feedback loop, but also signal to it when a query fails.

For what @stripe is charging for Sigma, it's criminal that the MCP doesn't allow for queries. Being tethered to my laptop to copy/paste queries to Claude Code sucks.

No VC money, no massive enterprise accounts, no sales teams, no growth hacking, no retention specialists ... Just exceptional, self-service, word-of-mouth project management software for small/medium-sized businesses. Just Basecamp.

The Model Y is the superior transportation appliance, but when the mission is about more than getting from A to B, there's still no beating the internal combustion engine. Collecting a stable of great cars is one of the finest rewards of entrepreneurial success.

@immad I've been asking for third party check support for years so I can automate the sending of checks (with attached pdfs) through Lob. Can I have that please?

I love when Claude Code suggests new tools. Let me tell you about the claude-for-chrome extension and mcp. I used to spend a lot of time explaining about nit-picky usability items. Now I ask for it to navigate the app like a user to suggest iterations and identify issues.

@cdolan92 Nails on a chalkboard. The dog owners in Austin are so entitled that instead of realizing they're in the wrong, they throw fits about "their rights"

At Tiny Grocer today in Hyde Park, I tipped $1 for my counter service sandwich to find that I had been already auto-charged 15%. Before I bussed my own dish, I got to witness a woman place her dog on the table. I sat and watched as nobody wiped the table down after her departure. When as a society are we going to start pushing back on dog owners?

I don't think I've built any software using AI that I would have purchased elsewhere. I've built things I would have just gone without previously. I am, however, buying more niche software that Claude tells me I need for this feature or that.
