August 2025 recap
Month +$996,008/+33%
YTD +$4,179,303/+1,460%
Discretionary trades -23k
Algo trades +973k
Account growth was slightly below long term average at 33%. Looking at the number of red days this was a tougher month than usual. That aligns also with what I've heard from few other traders in the same space; not the easiest of environments in August.
Even though discretionary trades show just a small number of -23k I did have several multi 6fig swings in that area. I was pushing for some homerun potentials on e.g. $UNH and $IBIT.
During the month I ramped up the number of setups my algo is running to 15. Still got couple more setups I want to get implemented in the near future. But overall now starting to be in a good shape in that regard. Now it's more about just letting the algo run and occasionally adjusting (=increasing) position sizes.
Heading into the rest of the year I plan to finally build a solid safety net outside of my trading account. After August wiring out 600k and might keep it at those kinda wire out numbers for a few months. Once I have enough outside of my account for multiple years I plan to step again on the gas pedal for aggressive growth. But at this point want to take some risk off the table.
Looking forward to see what the rest of the year brings 🫡

@csc187 I’ll be a retard if you admit to being a wanna be furu also you didn’t have to say it word for word, you insinuated it. No wonder why you are the way you are. You thought you did some right there didn’t ya? Don’t block me now like your k pop friends did cause I got a point 🤫
English

@csc187 Lmaoooo you really think Canada is better than US? Make a poll and let’s see who wins bud. You are a goof ball just like your friends. 😂 The state of Texas makes more in GDP than the entire state of Canada. Y’all are nothing, Mexico is a better trade partner. 🤧
English

@csc187 I feel bad for you. You live in Canada, I think you need to go ahead and tell your prime minister or whatever to go ahead and become our 51st state of the Great Nation….maybe it’ll help you out with taxes or what not. Puerto Rico is a nice tax haven…if you become a citizen 😚

@DeludedVision If I'm still on Twitter trolling past 30, just kill me. Retirement was always the goal, not shilling shit service and a course

@csc187 yea, but only 4 years though. after that you get boned with massive UK taxes. not worth throwing your whole life around for a 4 year tax gain imo, unless you really love the UK

interesting. Italy €200K/year flat tax. has anyone made this move?

Milan is the new London. The roaring London of the '90s, with more sunlight. Let's see if this brings back a growth mindset in Italy: - over 100k+ repatriates, with the 50% + tax exemption (mainly in Milan) - 4k+ applied for the €200K/year flat tax in the first half of '24 only - unparalleled lifestyle Portofino is in 2 hours. Lake Garda is just ninety minutes away. You can be skiing in Courmayeur beneath Mont Blanc in two and a half hours. Florence? Just 1.45 hours by train. We are back.

@liqprovid3r Well, yeah, the UK is shit compared to the rest, but you only need to spend 90 days there with residence and then just leave and spend the rest wherever in Europe
English

@csc187 interesting thanks, didn't know that. but i don't see myself moving to the UK. if i have to live in shit weather i prefer my country the Netherlands. Italy though is lovely, my favorite vacation destination
