🚨Heartbreaking Viral Video: Helpless Son Cries for His Injured Mother But Siddharthnagar DM Keeps Scrolling Reels A shocking video from the District Magistrate’s office in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh is spreading rapidly on social media. A distressed citizen went to the DM office pleading for help. His elderly mother was brutally attacked by monkeys in their village, suffering severe head injuries that needed multiple stitches. He had already filed written complaints with the District Forest Officer (DFO), but no action was taken. Instead of listening with empathy, the DM was seen continuously scrolling on his phone, completely ignoring the man’s painful appeal — no eye contact, no response, no assurance. This video has triggered massive public anger, with people calling it a clear example of administrative apathy. Where should common citizens go when those in power don’t even listen?

@DippaDippaDippa @NKasthoori @dmuthuk Exactly, temples are not school or office where you have to go. If you like and align with values and traditions of that variance then do it. at least sanatan or hinduism or whatever you call it that fredom and variety is there.

Since I did not see any need, I've not shared this information before. My marriage is an intercaste marriage. Casteism has nothing to do with Sanathana Dharma. Many are against casteism. In our family, we've proved by example. Attacking Sanathana Dharma is not attacking casteism. It is abusing Hinduism.

@NKasthoori @dmuthuk Not touching idols is typical south indian temples thing, where priest is the only one doing everything on behalf of devotees. In north you directly touch god's feet directly. I remember doing that even in Vaishno Devi and Ujjaini. For crowd management they may in big temples.

South India is called “more educated” than North India. Then why more IAS officers come from North India ? According to data, IAS Officers by state:
UP → 571
MP → 391
Maharashtra → 359
Tamil Nadu → 343
Bihar → 303 Karnataka → 273 Rajasthan → 268 Kerala → 173 But when you see per 1 crore population: Tamil Nadu → 42
Kerala → 42
Telangana → 40
Andhra Pradesh → 40
Bihar → 31
UP → 29
MP → 13 Conclusion:
North India has huge population, so total numbers look bigger.

I will continue to stack Gold, will do more road trips in my German petrol SUV which gives 6kmpl, will travel abroad at least 2-3 times a year (one already done this year), call all my staff to office everyday (canceling hybrid model). I'd like to first see him & entire cabinet fly in commercial airline, travel in single car (no convoy) while not blocking the roads and using Indian car. Also, he must stop going abroad himself first.

Got the chance to drive the Audi Q3 Sportback for approx. 700 km on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway! It’s perhaps the best luxury petrol car you can get in the ₹50-60 Lakh range. While Mercedes and BMW arguably offer better interiors, the Q3 is the most mechanically sound of the three. ✅ Proper 2.0L 4-cylinder engine: The BMW X1 uses a 1.5L 3-cylinder, while the Merc GLA has a 1.3L 4-cylinder engine. ✅ Quattro All-Wheel Drive: Neither the X1 nor the GLA (petrol) comes with AWD. The car drives like butter and takes off the moment you hit the accelerator. What a machine! ❤️

Vijay Shekhar Sharma built Paytm while living in a rented room for ₹3,000 a month. And he couldn't even speak English properly. Born in Aligarh to a school teacher father. Hindi medium school. No elite background. Got into Delhi College of Engineering on pure merit. Felt completely out of place. Everyone spoke English fluently. He couldn't hold a conversation. Started a content company at 22 just to survive. Sold it. Got cheated out of most of the money. Was broke at 25. Living in a tiny Delhi room. Called himself a failure every night. Then mobile internet arrived in India. He saw it before anyone else did. Built Paytm in 2010 with whatever was left. Nobody took a Hindi medium guy seriously. Kept building anyway. Demonetization happened in 2016. India was forced to go digital overnight. Paytm had 500 million users within months. Modi's face on the front page. Vijay's name on the company. The boy who couldn't speak English. Built the app that changed how India pays.

@theskindoctor13 Agree on the safety standards. I even feel the captain might not be qualified enough to face such winds. But life jackets are not given on such size of boat, only kept for emergency. Only small or open high speed boats require them.

The ill-fated cruise that capsized in Jabalpur killed 9, with several still missing. Look, no life jackets. Survivors said they asked the crew to turn back when winds worsened, but were ignored. Life jackets were given only after cruise began capsizing. Another reminder: avoid deep water activities in India unless you can swim well. Operators don’t use life jackets. Even when they do, they are cheap, low-quality, poorly maintained, or outright substandard, sometimes waterlogged, torn, or with failing straps, just to tick a box. Certification labels are missing or meaningless, and regular inspection or replacement is rare.

Currently in India, an engineering student has to first clear an entrance test. The entrance test carries questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Math. The students who are interested in Comp Sc or IT, why should they give entrance in Physics and Chemistry? A medical student is not asked Math in his entrance test. Then why Physics and Chemistry for a Comp Sc? Also, majority of engineering colleges teach Physics, Chemistry, Math in first year. Even Engineering Drawing. For what purpose? Other branch students are allowed to get the Comp Sc. job and hence they are learning some Comp Sc subjects apart from their own branch subjects. But a Comp Sc student is never allowed to get other Engineering jobs. Then why should he study same subjects as other Engineering students?

@sandeepjethwani Education and mortgage expenses will not be there and they shouldn't be part of inflated cost. That inflated cost is covered before retirement, so number must be way less. Maybe ,20cr but need to calculate.

If the 40 crore retirement number I shared shocked you, this post is for you. Here is what I said. If you are 40 today, spending 2 lakh rupees a month, with no EMIs to service, and you want to retire at 60, you will need 40 crore rupees. The comments had a lot of pushback. The number feels impossible. It is not. Let me show you why. Two assumptions drive this number. Inflation and life expectancy. Both are higher than what regular retirement calculators assume. Both are right. Start with inflation. Retail CPI in India is 5 to 6%. That is the inflation of atta, dal, and bus fare. It is not the inflation of an affluent household. Private healthcare in India runs at 12 to 14% every year. Domestic staff wages in metros are growing at 10 to 12%. Premium school fees, international travel, club memberships. All of these inflate between 8 and 10%. Blend them and you get 9%. That is the real inflation rate of an HNI lifestyle. Now life expectancy. Most Indians plan their retirement assuming they will live to 75 or 80. That is what national averages suggest. But national averages are pulled down by infant mortality and rural data. They have nothing to do with how long a healthy, affluent Indian actually lives. For a couple aged 65 today, there is a 71% probability that one partner reaches 85. A 44% probability that one reaches 90. Now the math. 2 lakh rupees a month at 9% inflation becomes 11 lakh 20 thousand rupees a month at age 60. That is an annual spend of 1.34 crore. Plan for 30 years of retirement. Your retirement portfolio which is focused on capital preservation (60% fixed income: 40% equity) earns 9%. Your Inflation is also 9%. Your real return is zero. So corpus needed equals 30 multiplied by 1.34 crore. That is 40 crore. Here is the good news. This number is not as far away as it looks. At 12% returns before retirement, 40 crore at age 60 translates to roughly 4 crore today for a 40 year old. The point of this message is not to scare you. It is to make sure you understand the silent erosion of purchasing power that inflation causes.

"Am I better off overseas or should I have stayed back home?" - By an Indian who migrated to the US for a living (replug) We come to the USA with monetary and career goals. This process takes a minimum of 4-5 years, including completing a degree, OPT, securing a stable job, etc. Then we fight to protect the life we have built. This involves dealing with the H1B visa process, the green card backlog, and other related challenges. During this time, we often get married and have children. The next decade is about stabilization and achieving a semblance of a normal life: fighting for a green card, buying a home, and building a network of friends. Meanwhile, our parents in India keep getting older. Cousins get married at inconvenient times. "Hey, your marriage is in March? My kids will be in school, I can't make it." Grandparents pass away when we have H1B stamping issues and can't travel. Fathers have heart attacks while our companies are laying off employees at a fervent pace. We miss some or all of these events. India doesn’t care. Life goes on for them. Nephews and nieces grow up not knowing us well. They probably know us as the "uncle and aunt who bring phones" every couple of years. Our children lack the meaningful extended family we had. No grandparents, uncles, aunts, or cousins. We become their entire world. Your spouse often becomes your only friend in a foreign land. She, too, is as confused as you are. When you argue with her for two days, who can she talk to about it? There's no one to share with. The friends network you built will soon be beset with jealousy and complaints. Soon, you realize people are not as innocent as they seem. Class and divisions start to appear based on who got a green card first, who bought a big house, who has a Tesla, who became a manager, who has a furnished basement, and so on. You will be caught in existential questions. Will my son or daughter bring a girl/boyfriend home at age 16? You will turn to culture and home. You will involve yourself in Regional(Telugu/Kannada/Tamil) Community, Indian associations, temples, volunteering, etc. You will change your political beliefs based on your situation. You either become a liberal, thinking all is fine, or you become a conservative, thinking I should resist all this. You go to India and find that you don't belong there. All your relatives have changed. You have changed. Uncles and aunts have died. Nephews and nieces are unrecognizable. The streets and city that you grew up in are unrecognizable. You come back and slip into your known world, keeping on working, never knowing the answer to the question: "Am I better off here or should I have stayed back home?" The answer to this question remains unknown.
