@NsNitinsinha @Xroaders_001 E20s effects will take years to manifest if any, EPC issues are an adulterated fuel problem. Also separating a problem due to failing component and effect of hygroscopic nature of ethanol is difficult.

Can E20 fuel alone cause EPC error?? EPC (Electronic Power Control) error itself is not a direct “E20 detected” warning. It usually comes when the engine management system notices something abnormal in combustion, fuel delivery, throttle response, or emissions. With E20 fuel, a few things can indirectly trigger EPC issues in older or non-fully-compatible cars: - Ethanol absorbs moisture more easily than pure petrol. - Ethanol burns leaner and needs different fuel mapping. - Older rubber seals, fuel pumps, injectors, or sensors may not tolerate prolonged high ethanol blends. - Carbon deposits or injector clogging can worsen because ethanol can loosen old deposits inside the fuel system. In turbo petrol cars especially, EPC often appears due to: - Misfires - Faulty ignition coils/spark plugs - Injector issues - Throttle body problems - Fuel pressure irregularities - Sensor mismatch So the E20 may accelerate wear or stop an already weak component, cause injector/fuel pressure inconsistencies and cause combustion irregularities that the ECU detects. @throttleandtech One more thing. boss about the city's mileage. I'm a very light footed driver mostly driving in 4th gear at 55-65 max the City shouldnt go below 10 km/L even in heavy bumperto-bumper traffic right?

@waveringmindz I have a trip planned starting Wednesday so will learn better. I was performing engine break in after delivery and at around 3900 rpm it does 135kph. NVH is actually better than I thought. 4th gear is very tall.

@throttleandtech That's nice How's the 4 speed gearbox? Do you feel the need for more gears especially on highways?

If I got handsome deal on brand new pre facelift city zx, I would prefer that over the new city. Nothing has changed except for ventilated seats, the infotainment sits nice and flush and looks cleaner. The front fascia looks better imo in old car.
