Police operators of security x-ray machines at work at Colosseum & St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Tons of tourists every day, with loads of cameras, electronics & water bottles packed. It is probably easy to drift between phone & security in such situations.

@JohnJoDevlin Hi John, the airport is operating normally today but we continue to advise passengers to arrive at the airport as soon as check-in opens for their flight. Typically, this is 3 hours for long-haul and 2-2 ½ for short-haul. Thanks, AB
