The bill, which will receive its second hearing, creates more consistent and responsive approaches to community control that better account for public safety and rehabilitation.

During Wednesday’s Ohio Senate Judiciary Committee, a broad group of public safety stakeholders testified in support of SB 291, a bill sponsored by Chair @Manning_Nathan and Vice Chair @SenReynolds03 to strengthen the state’s community control system.
