The Great Replacement theory is the white supremacist rebranding of the Nazi ideologies that were central to Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf.
Never let this hate be normalized.
Always call it out.

@betty_nft It would make alot of sense to just start with a fresh idea, but then again I guess l they are essentially buying a community (which could be valuable) .
English

Thoughts on people buying abandoned or closed projects: IMO we should welcome the offers from anyone willing to take on a project that would otherwise have no future.
In some cases there is bad blood in the community from disappointment and unmet expectations (whether promised or not) but I 100% believe that can be overcome through earnest work and effort. In other cases there is a community there just waiting, eager to support developments.
Of course people are totally in their rights to wind down a project rather than see it go in a different direction than first intended - and sometimes it makes total sense to close a chapter - but in web3 the dynamic between creator and consumer really is so different and that needs to be considered.
Communities aren’t part-owners of projects (with some exceptions), but they should be respected as such - without them in a lot of cases there wouldn’t be a brand. Of course being handed over or purchased doesn’t automatically mean success, but it does mean another chance at it.
We’ve seen a couple of examples of this already and I’m sure we will see more. What are your thoughts?
