A debt collector is going to call your mom during your funeral
They'll tell her she owes $14,000 on your car loan.
She doesn't.
Legally your debt dies with you in most cases. But they bought your file for pennies and they know that most grieving families will pay a debt they don't owe just to make the calls stop
This is a real business model. There are companies that specifically purchase deceased consumer debt in bulk. They buy it for 1-2 cents on the dollar and then call surviving family members during the worst week of their lives
They'll say things like "we just need to settle the estate" and "you don't want this affecting your family's credit." Both are designed to make your mother think she's legally obligated. She isn't
Here's what the law actually says:
When you die, your debts go to your estate. If your estate has assets those assets pay the debts. If your estate doesn't have enough to cover everything the creditors eat the loss. Your mother, your wife, your kids, your siblings do not inherit your debt. Period
The exceptions: if someone co-signed the account they're on the hook for it. If you live in a community property state (Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin) your spouse may be responsible for debt acquired during the marriage. And federal student loans are discharged at death entirely
Everything else dies with you. That credit card balance, that medical bill, that personal loan. Gone. The estate handles what it can and the rest disappears
But the collectors won't tell your family any of this. Because a confused grieving person with a checkbook is the most profitable customer in the entire debt collection industry. There's no urgency like funeral urgency. There's no compliance like grief compliance
I talked to a woman whose husband died in 2024. Collectors called her 11 times in the first two weeks. She paid $23,000 across four accounts before she talked to anyone who told her she didn't owe a single dollar of it. The accounts weren't co-signed. Her state wasn't community property. She just paid because a man on the phone told her she had to during the worst month of her life
If someone you love dies and a collector calls:
Say this: "I am not the debtor. Send all communication in writing to the estate executor. Do not contact me again by phone." Then hang up. Under the FDCPA they must stop calling you once you request written communication only. Every call after that is a violation worth $1,000
Don't confirm any information. Don't say "yes" to anything. Don't give them a bank account number. Don't let them pressure a timeline. There is no deadline that matters more than protecting your family from predatory shit like this
The credit industry doesn't stop when you stop breathing. It just finds someone else to bill
We help families deal with deceased debt, clean inherited credit damage, and stop collector harassment.

$ONDS THE LEGACY ISRAELI DEFENSE INDUSTRY IS “IN PANIC” OVER ONDAS👀🔥🤫
One of the largest Israeli financial publications just ran a major piece on Ondas, but it was in Hebrew and behind a paywall.
99% of investors don’t even know it exists.
Here’s what you need to know:
•Elbit, IAI, and Rafael control ~70% of Israeli defense revenue. All three competed for a $100M MoD border protection tender in January 2026. All three lost to Ondas.
•A competitor CEO told TheMarker directly: “The big defense companies in Israel are in panic over Ondas. There was a status quo — and suddenly a player arrives that threatens to take deals and core assets from them.”
•Ondas co-CEO Lugassi spent seven years as Rafael’s VP of Marketing. He recruited Rafael’s former VP of M&A, VP of R&D, and chief of staff to the chairman — all now concentrated on Ondas’s M&A and due diligence teams.
•The same competitor described them as “the bandits of the industry — the individual people who actually move organizations forward.” They left because they believed core Rafael assets were being underleveraged.
•Ondas has targeted mPrest for acquisition — the command-and-control software widely described as the operational brain of Iron Dome. No deal closed, no terms disclosed.
•Ondas acquired 51% of Smart Precision Optics, based at Kibbutz Shamir, which supplies optical components and lenses directly to Iron Dome interceptors, laser observation systems, and pilot helmets.
•A live tender is currently underway with Ondas competing head-to-head with Rafael on an airborne area interceptor for UAV-level drone threats.
•One source close to the company: “From the outside it looks like a big American wallet. But these are value-driven people who came to build a new innovative defense organization.”
•Major acquisitions in the United States are currently being prepared, per TheMarker. No targets or terms
disclosed.

We're officially on PORTER MARTONE WATCH 👀
With Michigan State's OT loss to Wisconsin, Porter Martone's NCAA season is over.
The #Flyers 6th overall pick will seemingly finish this year in Philadelphia... *crosses fingers*
Martone was one of the best freshman players in NCAA: 35 GP, 25 G, 25 A, 50 PTS

@jackiespiegel93 Don’t want them rushing him back but if he’s ready then he’s ready. Also, if you inject Martone and Tyson into this lineup…as a fan I can’t wait.

Morning from #Flyers morning skate. Missed lines unfortunately due to some miscommunication but did spot Tyson Foerster in a regular black jersey. He is also wearing orange to participate as a penalty killer in special teams work.

@Kylechasse **JUST IN** a group of men showed up and confiscated all materials related to this project in the name of National security.
No not really , but soon.

🚨 THEY JUST MOVED ANTIMATTER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY
Scientists at CERN loaded 92 antiprotons into a truck and drove them across the lab.
This has never been done before.
Ever.
Antimatter is the most volatile substance in the universe.
When it touches regular matter, both instantly annihilate in a flash of pure energy.
It's also the most expensive material that exists.
The challenge wasn't making it.
It was keeping it alive.
The transport device weighs 2,200 pounds and uses a superconducting magnet cooled to minus 470°F with liquid helium.
If the temperature rises above 8.2 Kelvin, the magnets fail.
If the magnets fail, the antimatter touches the walls.
Game over.
They had battery backup.
Vacuum systems.
And a 30-minute route at 29 mph max speed.
It worked.
The antimatter survived the 6-mile trip on March 24, 2026.
So why bother moving it?
Because CERN's antimatter factory is too noisy.
The machines create magnetic interference that ruins precision measurements.
Moving antimatter to a quieter lab is like removing vibration from a microscope.
You see more clearly.
And the next goal is bigger.
They want to transport antimatter 8 hours away to Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf in Germany.
If that works, antimatter research opens up to universities worldwide.
Not just CERN.
This matters because antimatter holds one of physics' biggest mysteries.
The big bang should have created equal amounts of matter and antimatter.
But the universe is almost entirely matter.
Antimatter basically doesn't exist.
We don't know why.
Studying antimatter could explain why we exist at all.
Right now, only CERN can make and trap it.
But if you can move it in a truck, you can FedEx it to labs around the world.
A whole new generation of scientists gets access.
This is the delivery service for the most dangerous substance in existence.
And it just made its first run.

$VIX at 31 and everyone's panicking. But the vol surface is telling a different story.
The term structure stayed in contango. VIX3M sitting below spot $VIX by over 6%.
That's the options market saying "I'm hedging, not fleeing."
Implied vol is running nearly double realized vol right now. 91st percentile gap. Someone selling this fear is about to get paid.
When $VIX spikes above 30 but the curve refuses to invert, it resolves lower about 75% of the time within a month.
$SPY closed right on its session low at 633. I think we're looking at 650-660 inside two weeks.
Backwardation is the real danger signal. We don't have it. Does anyone disagree with this read?

Most traders treat LEAPs like lottery tickets.
I treat them like a wealth machine.
Here's the formula:
• CSP profits → 50% kept as income
• Other 50% → LEAPs on QQQ/NVDA
• Expiration → 1+ year out
• Strike → 10% OTM always
• Max loss → small premium only
• Max gain → unlimited
Your income funds your growth.
Your growth funds your freedom.
This is how consistent income becomes long-term wealth.
