And for the final one, well, could go anywhere with this, but there is one film where a composer ive actually met did something quite special. An action score with layer upon layer, probably one of the best action scores theres been. Cast youe mind bacfk to 1990 and Arnold in forgetful mode. On a mission as someone else. Jerry Goldsmith did one fabulous score, layered strong and beautiful when it needed to be. Total Recall.

Second up well this next one something good too. There of course had been a first film with Rod. This second one though had an immense sound all its own. That suprised me, and its still something special even today. Klaus Badelt did something deep just like stephen did getting to the heart of the film, musically. A multi themic score and not one bad track on the whole album. The second Time Machine.

I think tonight on this warm night a little movie music to go with. Cast youre mind back to 2007. Middle of a warm summer here and one film id heard a bit about but didnt know Steve Jablonski at all. What suprised me wa the detail he put into this first films music, a lot deeper than what id expected it to be. Was also one cracking film, and still is. So first up tonight Transformers , one hell of score and film.

There will be quite a bit about Stephen Colbert on here tonight but one thing he does respect despite being a funny man is the truth. So do i, Bruce said it best 'lost his show because we have a president who cant take a joke. ' And in power you must take the rolls and the hits gracefully. Trump doesnt, in fact he doesnt do much right at all. An awful president. Nonetheless i will wish Stephen a good final show and hope he goes on to even better things. And of course to take good care.
