Big win for SPS yesterday with Provance & Kincaid providing a common sense majority for at least another year. Top spender Maryam was 0.44% away from losing her seat entirely. Next year, Makoski & Byrne are up.

@Ray0451 The sad part of this election is that she should not have won at all. The bottom two candidates who split votes would have totaled enough to win the third seat.

SNEA pres, interviewed on "conservative" radio yesterday, was asked about school board endorsements. After acknowledging (no data cited) that 40% of SNEA members were "conservative": "So, I feel like I need to represent my base." Whose base? And the 60%?

Two hours of team practice at 8am with catching all the bullpens, then a bullpen after practice to get a little pitching work in himself. Catching is solid as always with some good blocks, pitching is NIGHT AND DAY from last season when he first picked up pitching. Not bad for only having been pitching for 7 months.
