We issued our first Darknet Report, cataloging criminal activity related to healthcare and the #COVID pandemic. For the first time, we pull back the curtain on the #CTILDark group which works tirelessly to disrupt criminal and harmful behavior. cti-league.com/blog/darknet-r…

It seems that the core investigative method here is “if two people worked on something together “anywhere” then all the organizations they belong to must be colluding.” Trust groups contain many people from many organizations. Im in several trust groups with volunteers from all the fortune 500 companies. Does that mean ttey are also all colluding as part of this grand conspiracy? The majority of these allegations directed at the CTI League and its volunteers are insinuations that are simply not supported by any real facts. Proof requires depth and investigation beyond the surface. Bold claims call for strong evidence, and what has been presented does not withstand scrutiny.

Cybersecurity and disinformation experts deny they engaged in censorship, but they did. And now, we have uncovered evidence that the same people who created the Censorship Industrial Complex were behind the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Blockbuster new report by @galexybrane

It is important that we talk about government boundaries and ensure our rights are protected. However must make sure this conversation is bi-partisan, balanced and constructive. We must also make sure we don’t tear down our national defenses in the process. 5/5

We have no “cyber 9-1-1” in this country. There is no one to call when you face a cybersecurity attack if you don’t have the money for private incident response. Volunteering to protect our fellow citizens is a national institution in this great country. 4/5

Skilled cybersecurity workers volunteering to support these institutions makes a huge difference even if some feel the work we do is already available elsewhere. The simple fact is many organizations sit below the cybersecurity poverty line and need support. 3/5

The CTI League did not engage in censorship, it is focused on protecting the health sector. Despite testimony to congress that it is ridiculous billion dollar hospitals need help the hard truth is they do. At least one major hospital per week is hot by a ransomware incident. Major incidents at hospitals cost lives. 2/5

Today, two years ago, we established the @ctileague, together with @n0x08, @marcwrogers, @ChrisAMills, and thousands of volunteered experts with a mission to create safer cyberspace for the medical sector and life-saving organizations, to protect them from threats like this.

I will never forget the last days of October 2020, when so many hospitals in the US were attacked by ransomware at once. In the #ContiLeaks we can see some discussions about this operation and what crossing a line looks like in the threat actor's POV. What a shame.

@jamieantisocial @MITREattack @ctileague MITRE is one of the prominent methodology to stimulate attacks, examine how vulnerable are we to the techniques, and prepare ourselves accordingly. I'm offering to add influence to the techniques for enabling organizations to get prepared also for a influence endpoint for the TA

@jamieantisocial @MITREattack For AMITY, I LOVE this project and the @ctileague is happy to take part and contribute since day 1. For impact, I think that it's worth highlighting that some actors use all the other TTPs to cause public damage or to make some public impact to the victims or other targets

Threat actors execute influence-based operations, making it a critical addition to the MITRE impact tactics. UNC1151 (Ghostwriter), BlackShadow, Sandworm, Pay2key, so many campaigns with the same endpoint - they attack one victim to influence another target. @MITREattack

Cognitive cyber warfare is a real threat. In the darknet report we published in February, the @ctileague Dark has assessed that disinformation, misinformation, and conspiracy theories of COVID are some of the biggest threats to the general public's health and safety. 3/25»

Let's start with cognitive security. Disinformation, Misinformation, and Conspiracy theories are tactics, methods that are part of cognitive security. It is another layer of cyber security, which malicious actors use to exploit cognitive weaknesses. 2/25»
