@bscholl It is hard to, in practice, ban gerrymandering because at some point someone will have to draw a line on a map and someone else will say that line is unfair.

Unpopular opinion: SCOTUS whiffed hard when they had the opportunity to blow up gerrymandering and didn't. Gerrymandering is one of the worst practices in American politics— D/R safe districts turn the primaries into the generals, rewarding extremism over centrism.

@VladPlane @KE_MrBlack Almost all electric cars have regenerative braking which basically does capture energy from going downhill, energy generated by gravity. To capture the energy of the wheels moving on a flat surface would cause the car to stop, the total energy would net out.
