@SimzAndile @Enghumbhini So the party of the people has morphed into a criminal organization,or an organization that attracts criminals,or is it one and the same?..

@Enghumbhini Think of ANC like this, a company hosts a soccer tournament for staff and they choose better players available in that company. They not necessarily best but they better from the available. Yall were a group of ppl who resisted and formed an enclosed unit, yall not the best of us

And our leaders believed Mogotsi. Our media said he was a businessman, meanwhile he was just scamming people. An information peddler was said to be an intelligent operative. How the hell did Mchunu and Sibiya get scammed, unless they were in on the take too.

Opinion on Xi vs Trump: It's wild to suddenly observe my timeline full of so-called independent market analysts fawning over a meeting between Xi Jinping and President Donald Trump and waxing lyrical about how important it is for the world's two largest economies to maintain cordial relations for the stability of global markets. Was it not those very same “independent market analysts” who were criticising Pretoria's relationship with Beijing, saying Pretoria is aligning itself with a repressive communist regime? They were happy to pass a moral judgment on Pretoria, but suddenly that moral standard is irrelevant when Washington is involved. It appears then that the problem, or the variable, in this equation is not Beijing. The variable in this equation is who has the right to forge independent, stand-alone relationships between sovereigns. In the eyes of many so-called “independent market analysts”, South Africa should operate as a client state of some big brother rather than forming its own relationships that advance its own agenda. Frankly, that should leave every single citizen cold. South Africa must be given the space to forge its own relationships with whomever it feels will advance South Africa. End of story. VT

Today I am chairing the Council of Education Ministers, bringing together Education MECs, Heads of Department and senior officials of the DBE from our national and provincial departments. Over the next two days, we will focus on key issues affecting the basic education sector, including foundational learning, Mathematics participation and performance, teacher administrative burden, Early Childhood Development, teacher support, infrastructure, learner admissions, inclusive education and sector funding. This is an important platform for honest engagement, stronger coordination and collective responsibility across national and provincial government. Our discussions today must therefore be practical. We must not only describe the problems, but agree on what must change. This Council must lead from the front.   We have a collective responsibility to the system. Provinces must implement with discipline and urgency.    Together, we must ensure that every rand, every post, every classroom, every textbook and every support programme is directed toward improving learning outcomes and ensuring that every learner has access to quality education. 🇿🇦

If there’s propaganda I believe in, it’s that Mauritius is one of the most beautiful, friendly and delicious places on earth. I’m so in love with the island that I’m considering doing a company retreat here 🌞✨🌊

Vincent Magwenya on #TheCMShow says he doesn’t know if President has paid back the $580 000 to the Sudanese business man.He says he will go check. In 2024 the President told me on the show that the farm is in process of paying back money. Mustafa told Sky News he wanted a refund.

Minister, believe it or not, we actually want you to succeed. Not because we support you, but because the youth of this country are DESPERATE for jobs and dignity. So when we ask for accountability, it's not an attack. Now that we got that preview out of the way, Minister, can you update us on the “Spaza Shop” fund? 1. How much was deployed? 2. To whom? 3. Which asset management company was given the mandate to manage that fund? 4. How were they selected? 5. What's the performance of the fund thus far? 6. Where are the Spaza shops & the underlying Spaza shop owners that your fund has assisted? Asilwi. Siyabuza. We will wait in the comments for feedback.

@LCabonena Who cares? Let the chips fall where they may. As I see it, it's about time the bullets start flying. Sometimes, the only way to teach a troop of baboons to behave is to kill the ever posing alpha male.

If Cyril Ramaphosa resigns before Friday. Paul Mashatile will be the President, he has the backing of Panyaza Lesufi, Jacob Zuma and crazy Julius Malema. It means the ANC , MK party and the EFF will now take the government of South Africa. GNU will be dissolved with immediate effect. Massive looting will now take place in South Africa.

@samkelemaseko @Mkhize_vela The horse has bolted. I think it would save the ANCs dignity to allow this process to go forward and with integrity. .... I'm of the view that being paraded thru the impeachment process lead to long-term reputational damage. Resignation after being found to err....IS BETTER.

Bellville SASSA Office | Yesterday: In the video, a @OfficialSASSA beneficiary shares his experience of sitting in a long queue after arriving as early as 4am and waiting for hours to be assisted. He explains that during the long wait, some beneficiaries, including children, did not have food or water because they had no money to buy any while waiting to collect their grants. #BlackSash #SASSA #SocialGrants #GrantAccess #GrantQueues #SocialProtection #BeneficiaryVoices #DignityAndAccess #GrantPayments #PublicServices #Bellville #WesternCape

The furthest thing on the Prez’s mind when he took this job was the idea of being impeached. added to all the legacy issues he is already confronting. but then again..when the YL-WL & veterans called for JZ to fall..it was he who propped him up. Were the signs already there?

A warning has been issued to motorists travelling to Cape Town International Airport after an alleged attempted robbery near the airport around 12:15. According to a circulated message, a group of young men were reportedly performing tricks and dancing in the road at the last roundabout before the airport, forcing vehicles to slow down or stop. It is alleged that while drivers were distracted, two other suspects approached from behind in what appeared to be a coordinated ambush. The group was reportedly carrying stones. The targeted vehicle managed to avoid the attack when the driver quickly reversed and moved away after realising the danger. The suspects allegedly withdrew but continued watching from a distance until another vehicle arrived, allowing the motorist to proceed safely. Residents and travellers have been urged to remain vigilant, avoid stopping unnecessarily in the area, and share the warning with others heading to the airport. There has been a series of attacks around the airport area.

In August 1988, Shirley Gunn walked into the headquarters of the Western Cape Military Command in Cape Town carrying a limpet mine hidden inside a custard box. Wearing a sunhat, sunglasses and a dress, she did a route check past the Adderley Street flower sellers, bought everlasting flowers as a disguise, and walked straight in. She went to the tearoom and drank tea, careful not to leave fingerprints, waiting for construction workers to leave. She planted the device in a tunnel and walked out, dumping the flowers at the Grand Parade before returning to a safe house in Clifton. Minutes later, the blast tore through the base, causing massive damage but no casualties. In 1986, she left South Africa for Umkhonto we Sizwe military training in Angola and Cuba. When she returned, she went underground, co-commanding the Ashley Kriel Detachment. In 1990, they detained her again, this time with her infant son.
