To grow your brand as a creator/streamer, you don't have to worry so much about the colors, overlays, logo, etc. Your brand is formed by these things: - your taste - how you talk (language, tone, etc) - who you hang out with - your perspectives / opinions - your lived experiences - your belief systems Inputting this into your content will do way more for your brand and build strong connections with viewers than a logo ever will. So stop spending all your time and money on a visual rebrand. Look inwards, reflect. Write all that you discovered down. Then share that with the world in the content you make.

OH MY GOD 😭❤️ Had the absolute honor of being featured in @redbullgaming GAMEPOP bookazine. A project centered around the intersection of gaming and pop culture, and the people who’ve helped shape it along the way. I have my own feature in the fighting game section where I talk about my beginnings, community, representation, and my journey through esports/fighting games. This honestly feels surreal. So grateful to be part of something like this.

One thing I really appreciated about doing this feature was getting the chance to reflect on my journey in fighting games. There were also a few additional thoughts I wanted to share afterward. I have so much pride in the trophies and medals I’ve earned not just from competing against some of the best in the country, but some of the best players in the world. Representation matters a LOT. And for me, that started at the grassroots level. The women at my locals were kind and supportive. There were people of color at events. Even though the scene was heavily male-dominated in many ways, I still felt encouraged to compete and improve. If I hadn’t experienced that kind of support early on, I genuinely don’t think I would have competed the way I did.
