@resa24043 @sleepyzeph @belovarness professor x has done a lot of shady things during conflicts, and there are other telepaths. lots of them could, in theory, just shut down mostly anyone, but that’s not good storytelling.
plus mystique often collects info herself so might know without anyone’s help
