Phase 1 of the judging process for the HUG 100 is officially complete! Thank you to all of our judges including @UnknownCo123 @mpierpont3 @sebastianss527 @curatingthings @claracxw for taking the time to go through 3,000 submissions to land on a shortlist of 200+ artists. We will be commencing Phase 2 this week and are excited to get to our final 100 in a thoughtful and deliberate way. In the meantime, stay tuned... As part of our digital art initiative, I am beyond excited to announce Artnet’s partnership with Times Square Arts to co-present artist Quayola’s mesmerizing series “Storms.” So, it's truly a dream come true for me to have the opportunity to work on curating the program of Midnight Moment. Director Jean and her team have shown incredible trust and support for this initiative, and the outcome feels like a stroke of good luck with all the stars aligned "Storms" is powerful yet simplistic, and we were merely matching it with the canvas it deserves.
