Personally, I think Kalshi’s products are net negative for on chain liquidity. Every product they launch pulls trading liquidity off chain rather than onchain. As a result, new users entering through Kalshi are more likely to remain within a closed, off chain environment instead of flowing into platforms like Hyperliquid or Polymarket or other chains. The second order effect is that less liquidity and user activity become composable with the rest of crypto. When state lives onchain, other apps can build on top of it, integrate it, and create new products. When state is offchain, those network effects are harder to capture. Over time, I suspect many successful onchain products could be replicated offchain via Kalshi or others. I’m sure there is enough liquidity onchain for the ecosystem to absorb some of this, but the question is where the marginal user and marginal dollar end up. If new demand is captured inside Kalshi first, then the capital, positions, and settlement state tied to that demand are less likely to become composable with the rest of crypto. Maybe that is fine. Kalshi could grow the overall pie and create more awareness for prediction markets and perps broadly. But the risk I’m watching is that crypto’s strongest consumer finance products get validated in the mainstream while the most valuable network effects accrue offchain

Nurses usually start practicing at 22yo. Sometimes earlier, if they were part of an associate program She's 26 How can you be 4 years into working a 70k+/yr job (while HAVING SOMEONE ELSE PAY YOUR RENT) and still be 90k in student loan debt? What was the starting debt here? 250k?? Did she go a quarter of a million in debt to become a nurse? Nothing else makes sense, unless she literally just did the minimum payment for 4 years
Yonan@yonann

Dave Ramsey tells a nurse to dump her boyfriend after he refuses to propose until she pays off $90K in debt Caller: "I’m a 26 year old nurse with $90K in student loans. My boyfriend makes $250K a year, but he won’t propose until I’m completely debt free" Dave: "Dump him. He’s making you prove your worth based on money. You’re having to buy your way into this relationship" "The No. 1 cause of divorce in North America today is money fights and money problems and guess what this is? This is a money fight"

Take it from a fan: blame the algorithm post-elon, this has nothing to do with the account or its owner. The account has the same genuine, heartfelt posts that made it popular in the first place (resonates with people). Post-elon algo that really doesn't matter; it's not the point of what they're going for with the software (not being optimized for happiness, connection, etc.)

Many years ago I hurt my knee playing sports. I was referred to the orthopedist for one of the local pro teams. After keeping me waiting for 2.5 hours, he diagnosed a cartilage tear and recommended surgery. I was so mad at his manner and tardiness I left without scheduling. The next week I got a second opinion from a much younger doc who was likely more current on the recent medical literature. He looked at the same MRI. He said he could do surgery now but his advice was to wait 30 days and see if it healed on its own. It did. Medical reversal is when a practice that became widely used is later shown to be ineffective or even harmful. Examples like meniscus surgery show the need to keep gathering evidence. A not immaterial part of the practice of modern medicine doesn't improve health, and may be net harmful.

Appreciate the response. Codex picked this up looking through docs and on chain. These just need to be labeled somewhere (nothing in docs so far). Wallets of concern: 0x5744a7a52f7dabB2d91205803441C81A850D1Ce8 0xd73432D63C239bEb93D846Df5A447175cfbB8c75 0x33693709486c8E26C8b3920778B435eBdF74c42b 0x45F35DE325B9756F8f989FCdE35F58658f05f45b 0x8e8054d33ae44757e6d8fbaa4215F5A2073293dd 0x403fB57F22ab7897ec76f37Dd28a3452c77389cA 0x30AcE04d614B8c4C04f906Dc42cD476ce3470Fb3 0x6c00Ec3f7Acb77f2C675782FB07CA0AdA9Cfb2Cf

@curemeMD good point, will be sure to label these. theyre likely all Anchorage EOA wallets they all have locks as detailed below. anyone who was an investor has to comply with Rule 144 (enforced lockup) docs.usd.ai/governance/tok…

@0xZergs why are there 8 unlabeled EOA wallets holding 71% of the CHIP supply doe? Zero documentation on this. Assume investor wallets but nothing stopping them from dumping at any time and no apparent lock.

Congrats on the launch! Can you please confirm the role of these large CHIP holder wallets? 0x5744a7a52f7dabB2d91205803441C81A850D1Ce8 0xd73432D63C239bEb93D846Df5A447175cfbB8c75 0x33693709486c8E26C8b3920778B435eBdF74c42b 0x45F35DE325B9756F8f989FCdE35F58658f05f45b 0x8e8054d33ae44757e6d8fbaa4215F5A2073293dd 0x403fB57F22ab7897ec76f37Dd28a3452c77389cA 0x30AcE04d614B8c4C04f906Dc42cD476ce3470Fb3 0x6c00Ec3f7Acb77f2C675782FB07CA0AdA9Cfb2Cf These EOA wallets collectively hold about 71.8% of total CHIP supply, so wallet attribution and sellability are a concern.
