There was nothing more crazy than the remote monitoring arms race during COVID. In real time I went from non-proctored exams to being forced to use webapps that tracked all the activity of my computer to take a physics test for college. Then like 3 weeks later it became scanning your entire room and forced to use a webcam. To get around this I knew people that would blue-light glasses because it would reflect the screen and the camera couldn't track their eye movements. In response professors asked kids to not use blue light glasses, so the kids would get doctors notes for "blue light sensitivity." Same thing with key monitoring. What a surreal time.
