I knew a guy about a year ago - a roommate of a friend in Manhattan.
He’d apply to these executive level crypto jobs online even though he was 22 years old... he didn't even look much older...
he'd tailor his resume exactly to the job description, and totally fabricate his experience in the interview.
The man was a master bullshit artist. Truly elite. Never seen anything like it since.
Last I checked linkedin, he landed a Senior VP gig at VC backed L2 pulling in over $300K/year.
Didn't keep a low profile, always at conferances, always partying with execs of web3 companies.
Each new role gave him the experience he had just finished faking.
Just looked him up on LinkedIn.
He's now the CEO of a saudi backed company I’ve never heard of.
That guy couldn't even bridge assets from EVM to solana.
Many such cases.

@FPLfrasier sounds like all it takes is a refresh of the season for the same players to magically play better and have a stronger mentality
absolute bellend

I think this is the story they are discussing behind the scenes as well. Last season cannot be a reference. We literally finished 15th. The manager and most of the players are lucky that they don’t work for Madrid. All of them would have been sacked by now.
Treat this season as a new season. Forest and Spurs were there for getting a win. We bottled it big time.

🚨🗣 - Matthijs De Ligt: "Last year we lost against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham 1-0, but last week and today you see we have the fire in our bellies to fight and get a point. "The season is long, drawing is more important than losing."

During today’s market volatility, the Solana network and the Agave validator client maintained stability under record network load:
- 6x peak traffic
- Full 60M CU blocks
- 100K TPS ingested
A major stress test proving Solana’s resilience under extreme demand. Agave handled it without degradation, and Anza engineers will continue advancing the stack with XDP, 100M CU blocks, Alpenglow and more.

The first image is just peak non-vote TPS that was getting ingested into leader nodes.
Top of the funnel.
After going through dedup/sanitize/verify, we still had peaks of 50-100k TPS making it into the “auction house”
Then about 3k highest value non-vote TPS actually landing in blocks for a sustained period.
The reason we are artificially throttle down to 3k TPS is because we cannot confidently propagate more bytes through turbine in 400ms to all 6k+ nodes in the cluster. This is why I’m so excited for XDP to get adopted soon :))

Today was a resounding success for the Solana Blockchain and a vindication of the idea that you don't need a modular aproach to scale. Work done by @anza @jump_firedancer @triton_one @heliuslabs @phantom and all of the other infrastructure providers working to make Solana the #1 blockchain over the past 2 years paid off big time today.
if we are grading on a curve, Solana gets an A++. If we are grading in absolute terms, there are still things to work on, and we know what those are now so back to work.
Building a block chain to house global markets requires a committment to extraordinary quality of service, specifically on days when markets move the most. Of all the chains, layer 2s and exchanges impacted by today's volatility, Solana performed by far the best.

🚨JUST IN: Bloomberg’s @EricBalchunas has put the odds of $SOL ETF approval at 100%, up from 95%.
“Honestly the odds are really 100% now… Generic listing standards make the 19b-4s meaningless. That just leaves the S-1s… The baby could come any day.”
