"Section V boys basketball makes its annual appearance at the War Memorial tonight and tomorrow. It is a big deal to the kids from our region. Its still a big deal to old guys like me. I've been attending pretty much every year since the late 1960s.
Unfortunately, for the past 15 years or so, my friends and I have chosen not to attend the Saturday games when the city and border towns play, due to the seemingly annual displays of violence that erupt inside the arena and its environs exclusively on the second day of the tournament.
I am wondering if and when the City, Monroe County, Section V and the Blue Cross Arena and the schools themselves will ever take the steps that are necessary to better protect the players and spectators on tournament Saturday? It seems to me that a more proactive as opposed to reactive approach (via a high degree of law enforcement on scene) BEFORE the trouble begins might serve us well.
Something bad happens every year. And every year we hear the same thing. Oh, "it was an isolated incident." Why is that acceptable? When I purchased my ticket yesterday at the arena box office, the lady who took care of me said the following: " like he'll it was an isolated incident last year. It started in an upper corridor and spilled all the way out onto the streets. I had to get on my knees behind the counter to avoid being hit by something. "
Each year we see the videos on our phones on Saturday evening and on the evening news casts. Disgusting.
If you keep doing what you're doing, you get more of what you've got. That is, until it's gone for good. And what a shame that would be for these kids; who already will never experience the magic of Midtown Plaza at Christmas, East End Festivals, etc., etc.
Here's hoping that this is the year of something different."

Thank you to all of the 🇺🇸 military! This was for all of you! Thank you for doing everything that you do so that we can play the game that we love! Our Olympic Team 🇺🇸 talked daily about playing our hearts out for the military and all first responders!

@unoriginaltool @davidlovejoyx Can I ask what you changed your diet to?
English

@davidlovejoyx Incredibly frustrating! I'm thankful to have finally gotten ahead of the issue. Hope this can help someone else.

Hyperhydrosis? Another term that's supposed to make you think there is something wrong with your body. I've experienced this issue for years. I knew deep down my body was trying to tell me something. That I was taking in to much of something, and sweating was my body's way of getting rid of the excess. I was to the point of putting on a shirt, and it being soaked within 30 minutes. From the moment I woke up, to the minute I laid down for bed. Endless. Doctors would try to prescribe antidepressants, or even suggest botox. Which all sounded repulsive to me. I'm 2 months in to eating a clean and healthy diet, and it's almost completely disappeared. Our food in the US is truly poisonous. I encourage any one suffering from "hyperhydrosis" to try a clean and restricted diet. Your body is begging for help!
