@BuzzRothfield The fins just look more certain in everything they did.. the dogs look nervous. As an experienced player you should be thinking the more challenging the game, the more l need to show myself.

Tactically they’ve been really poor. Ciraldo needs to look in a mirror and accept the blame. He’s been clearly out-coached four weeks straight.

@DaveRic1 @BuzzRothfield this is what I see when watching Canterbury... they have frozen up and their opponents can smell it.

@WG_RumblePants Just like the tennis players of that era... they all had this confidence in their craft. We almost saw them like undercover super heroes.

@CommodoreBlog @AmigaReposts @Hemigod85 @nyimski As great as it was.. top 5 arcade in my opinion. The main element is understanding your customers.... at that time we loved adventure.. music and a bit of fun. It covered all of those and visually spectacular. I saw this as a demo in a computer shop in 1986, blew me away.

I Can’t get my head around the Liverpool players doing keepy ups inside the Man Utd tunnel. Klopp + Henderson + Milner etc etc would never have allowed these short of standards to drop 🤷🏻‍♂️

@TheBorisBecker This season its fair to say Utd have had minimal obstacles.. next season it gets alot harder including expectation. Some teams just do not have the personality to handle it all.

@WG_RumblePants I was at the MCG on March 29, 2015 for the WC finals where New Zealand scored an identical 183 runs v Australia. Was reminded of this during the break and asked late @ProfDeano about the prospect of Australia following suit, to which he had a good laugh & posed for this photo.

June 25, 1983 Only 183 on the board. The mighty West Indies top order standing against them: Greenidge, Haynes, Richards and Lloyd. Titans of the game. Then India took the ball… and everything changed forever.

Any book recommendations? I recently finished The Elephant Whisperer and Lion trackers guide to life (Boyd Varty) so I’m living in the nature theme. Suggestions?

@markbouris Mark you remind me of that scene in Die Hard 2 where John McClaine gets on the tarmac with the fire torches to tell the pilots to pull up earlier... as ground level was intentionally incorrectly calibrated. The government is on course for a disaster, a big one.

The implications of the government appointing the Governor of the RBA @cjoye is one of the most influential voices in Australian finance, a fund manager, economist, public policy thinker, and weekly Australian Financial Review columnist. In this conversation, Joye delivers his starkest warnings yet about Australia's economic future. He explains why the Reserve Bank's humiliating policy reversals have set us up for a multi-year recession, how record immigration and government spending have created an inflation crisis, and why we're heading for the worst property downturn since 1991.
