@ceilfors I'm trying out Feedbin because I heard it recommended more than once, and I'm satisfied with it!
You know where to message me if you get that substack going :)
English

@cvennevik Oh hello, Cecilie!
Good for you that you've started blogging! I've stopped consuming RSS since Google Reader was discontinued (wow, 2013 was 9 years ago). How do you consume RSS nowadays?
Been thinking about trying substack, will let you know if I ended up there.
English

Sad to see @cvennevik @emilybache @GeePawHill are longer active on Twitter! I'm sure there are others who are no longer active too.
I still can't seem to make Mastodon less tech-focused for my non-tech interests, so I'm sticking around this bird site until it dies.
English

Reminder that I'm still active on the Fediverse at @cvennevik" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">hachyderm.io/@cvennevik, but also:
If another social media platform isn't your style but you use an RSS reader, I've also started blogging!
So far, this one is probably most relevant to my circle: cvennevik.no/post/code-revi…
English

@ceilfors It's no replacement for casual conversations, but I've started blogging at cvennevik.no, if you're into longform content.
Maybe you could consider turning your weekly threads into blog posts, so they end up in my RSS reader?
English

@ceilfors Popping by because I had to check on something else:
I miss you too!! Lots of people I was really happy to connect with on here that aren't in the same place as me now.
English

@eikonne This reminds me: I'm a fan of the thought of assuming "zero bugs" as an approachable goal, and viewing any bug in the software a symptom of a defect in the "development system" that can be improved.

@rakyll I can sympathize with the situation, lots of young people depend on online communities, so the fate of Twitter is extremely important for them. If you don't understand just how shot Twitter's engineering capacity is, it's not surprising that Twitter's collapse is "unthinkable."

@jamesshore @jitterted ! Will the stream be saved for viewing later?
English

I’m going to be livecoding with @jitterted every week starting next Tuesday! We’ll be exploring Nullables and A-Frame Architecture as an alternative to Mocks, Spies, and Hexagonal Architecture. Should be a good time. Details and calendar reminder here: jamesshore.com/v2/calendar/nu…

@ceilfors Basically he's not my coach and certainly not my mentor - maybe "agent" is the best comparison!
English

@ceilfors My current manager is not involved with my daily work at all, but is the one I report to as an employee of this consultancy company. We chat every now and then to make sure I'm happy and I go to them if I want training budget or to talk about any issues at my current "workplace."

@julielerman (I'm on hachyderm.io myself - there's great company here! High density of cool software professionals)

@julielerman You can always migrate (transfer all your followers and settings and set up a redirect) to a new account on a new instance later.
