Our study, through wonderful collaboration with @LillyPad, reports and characterizes a small molecule positive allosteric modulator interacting with both the GLP-1 receptor and endogenous peptide hormone, working as a molecular glue. nature.com/articles/s4158…

@gonenlab All three I suppose. Just as growimg nice crystals is the bottleneck of x-ray crystallography. Access to electron microscopes is the bottleneck for electron microscopy. In academia that seemed to translate to time waiting. In industry that seems to translate to cost.

We designed a SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein covalently shut closed, and showed it is also applicable to SARS-CoV, to support structural, immunology and serology studies for COVID-19 and coronavirus research.
