@WhatsUpSmooth Stop your whining. They must sell or not operate within this country. It is called reciprocity…

@VersusAndCo @ycinnewyork I'm not worried about having my phone stolen. I'm worried about the dysregulated mentally ill people that seem to appear on the platform out of nowhere from time to time.

@betdaqsports @DD_Geopolitics Tons of fuck ups by the city for sure, but not surprising that there’s some weird specialty item that the FD has that folks don’t see everyday.

@macfathom These are pretty popular among car enthusiasts who prefer the look of their car with no front plate but live in a state that requires them

The congestion pricing advocates are people who spent the first 25 years of their life on a different continent…nyc is done… u fail hard in France and then want to lecture us and impose more taxes here in nyc ?

Still smug? She “was born in Paris, France, to a French father and a Tunisian mother…graduated from La Sorbonne University in Paris, with a master's in French literature and in journalism. At 25…emigrated to New York” and advocated for a congestion tax nypost.com/2025/01/08/us-…

@JoeBorelliNYC So it’s cheaper to drive then? Some of us only have the choice but to take the train. This isn’t the dunk you think it is

Me: maybe I won’t take my car to Manhattan today to Mayor Adams’s state of the city address The MTA: ok your trip will cost $14 and take 3 hours each way.

@Boenau Wow. He’s has had it. Wonder which he is? Teacher maybe? Hot dog stand owner? Fireman? Salt of the earth no doubt. Did not realize NYC police were so kindly and polite. He’s lucky they didn’t feel threatened.

. @gaysfortrump just so you know. I used to get ticketed for a clear plate cover. They prohibit you from protecting your plate. It wasn’t tinted, absolutely clear and transparent. The claim is they can’t capture your plate, it’s a lie. I got a red light ticket in the mail for going through a yellow light. The clear cover didn’t prevent anything, it kept the filth in NYC off my plate. Everything NYC does, is a money grab. Everything.

I HAVE THE MOST AMAZING COMMENTS RIGHT NOW in my feed about congestion pricing - One guy says his "wife's family is plumbers in Yonkers" and, because of congestion pricing, they won't be able to work in Manhattan - Another guy who describes himself as "6’1 230 built like a brick shithouse" challenged me to wear my "nicest watch" and come on the subway with him because it's so scary. He has a "day date two tone." I don't own a watch and I'm not 230, but I'm not scared to ride the subway - Another guy whining about congestion pricing last drove into Manhattan ONE MONTH AGO - Another doesn't believe I ride the subway (lmao) - Another said congestion pricing is too expensive since he drives his ill girlfriend into the city 3x/week, but when I asked what exemption he will take, he said it takes too long and pivoted to complaining about illegal immigration - Many are driverrs do not believe they are subsidized by the government (they are) - MULTIPLE people declared that congestion pricing disproportionately affects poor people (it doesn't) but could never identify any specific poor people who drive and park in Manhattan every day (because that rarely happens) Overall, I love it
