Hey @XPlaneOfficial I'm the author of an upcoming @OpenXR runtime for MacOS that brings PCVR on Mac. It works today with Quest. I'll release the runtime on github. I tried to force OpenXR on MacOS but it doesn't work, I suspect that it's because OpenXR is not linked with the executable and because the checkbox is disabled. I can give you an early access to the openXR runtime if you want.

This is how performs a MacBook Air M5 with the X-Plane 12 simulator and two screens. Graphics between high and medium. It’s smooth and fast, unfortunately I can’t force the VR mode to test my OpenXR runtime.

Started to work on a (Swift/SwiftUI) compagnon app to tweak streaming parameters, install the runtime globally or use the dev one, etc.. GUI is pretty bad for now, I'll pimp it later, but I no longer need to edit a config file ;-) It's optional of course.

Hand tracking is now working with the OpenXR OSX Runtime in @unity (and @godotengine). I'll showcase a more complete demo than this procedural sky ;-) I really need to work on the latency now... When fixed, I'll release it on github. #pcvr #macos #openxr #unity #godot

This is it, native PCVR on MacOS! The OpenXR SDK can be compiled on MacOS, So I implemented a runtime and a streaming app. Godot supports OpenXR on MacOS so I use it to test my integration. Unity could work too and of course native C++. 1/x

@SkarredGhost Yes, I'm happy it's unlocked. I'm now enforcing all openxr validations to be sure it's OK for any implementation (I use Khronos' OpenXR comformance test for that).
