@youdoubro There is no better proof of why we need Zcash than a mob attacking someone. At any point in time you can be the one at the end of a mob. Privacy is for everyone. Attacks prove the use case for #Zcash Tomorrow, will they attack you? Will you be able to buy food once they do?

Given that Ai are finding bugs in countless current systems including banking, personal OS systems. I get asked often what do I do with my money, retirement funds, savings... Are banks, crypto, home titles, stocks or anything have a reasonable level of safety? What is safest? Where would you put your kids college funds? While everyone talks about theory pf risk few in crypto talk about reality of a family needing to protect funds in Iran, or China, or Ukraine, Russia or even Canada and US with abusive governments and non stop scams.

I really like this. If this was a Body, what good is an immune system that doesnt know about the toes or fingers and what good is privacy or freedom if your finger can be cut off with the body not knowing. Only a system of checks and balances can work and this take monitoring, and maintenance, Stress, abuse and excess will case issues regardless of the rails or safe guards. Governments and communities arguably the same.

Everything can fail. Everything is a fallible “black box” and has to be embedded into a larger system that can detect, limit, and remediate its failures. ⤵️

@zooko This doesn't work as there is no notifications or alert, it's just a post in a feed thread, even worse with no context. Here is how it shows up for me.

🚨 Phone intercepts between officials in Ukraine were conspiring with federal workers at USAID, to funnel ($200M) dollars sent by the US Govt to Ukraine, and launder it back to Bidens campaign in (2024) We were right about that money laundering operation from Ukraine to the DNC

"You're telling me I'm not allowed to preach?" "I won't stop until Jesus tells me I can't preach God's word." While police harass a Christian preacher, a citizen reports a nearby crime. Cops say, "Call it in, we're busy!" With what? Silencing Christian faith?!

Wow... “We have a report where a 7 and 9 year old died of a heart attack after the Covid Vaccine…” “Heart attacks were not considered a side effect of the Covid Vaccine…” “Are you saying heart attacks are common in children…?”

Residents that had their homes burn down by the Eaton Fire during the Pacific Palisades fires are now receiving water bills from the city One resident hasn’t been there in a year, the property is so burned the meter doesn’t even exist anymore, but they’re getting bills “This is ridiculous. How can they charge us for something that we don't have? We haven't used water in over a year — this is something that is outrageous” “So you don't even have a meter still on this property?” “No, there's nothing. It was, it was right here on the side of the house” Yet they’re being sent bills…..

USA is finished Radical judges rule over us. 19yo thug shoves 84yo grandpa from behind, cracks his skull on the pavement, kills him… then cries ‘bad day’ and walks free on probation. Not sure what we doing anymore.. No hope.

Minecraft updates since 1.16 have been so disconnected from the game and each other You could probably shuffle the order that they were added in, and it would barely make a difference to the game’s current state

No one wears tin foil hats. They are silver not tin. Unless you are poor then its aluminum foil. Ive been a partner with Microsoft for 26 years in many industries. My first Microsoft software I still have from late 70s. And yep they have screwed me often. Their staff today vs 26 years ago is a pure joke. They are purely incompetent. Dont need a conspiracy we have proof. From Halo to Windows 11 to Copilot to Minecraft to xbox its all trashy today but most were once great.

96 licensed doctors just got charged with stealing $14.6 billion from Medicare. They used AI to generate fake voice recordings of patients giving consent for medical equipment that was never delivered. Fake urinary catheters. Billed to your tax dollars. One single scheme accounted for $10.6 billion in fraudulent claims. That's more than double the previous record. 324 people charged. 96 of them held medical licenses. People who swore an oath to protect patients were running a criminal enterprise using stolen identities. The DOJ called it the largest healthcare fraud takedown in American history. They seized $245 million in cash, crypto, luxury cars, and other assets. But $245 million recovered on $14.6 billion stolen is 1.7 cents on the dollar. Here's how the scheme worked. A transnational criminal organization bought dozens of medical supply companies across the US using foreign straw owners. Shell companies with real Medicare billing numbers. They obtained the identities of over one million Americans and used those identities to submit billions in fake claims. The AI component is new. They generated synthetic voice recordings to satisfy Medicare's requirement for patient consent calls. An algorithm faked the voice of an 80-year-old woman in Ohio agreeing to receive medical equipment she never heard of. Then they billed Medicare $4,000 for a catheter that was never shipped. Multiply that by a million stolen identities and you get $10.6 billion. This is not a one-time event. Medicare spending on certain categories has "exploded" in recent years according to the DOJ. Skin substitute billing increased so dramatically that CMS had to completely overhaul the reimbursement methodology for 2026, cutting payments by nearly 90%. The broader pattern is that healthcare fraud is scaling faster than the systems designed to catch it. The DOJ's own healthcare fraud unit has a reported return on investment of $106.76 per $1 spent on enforcement. That's the most effective dollar the government spends. And they're still underwater because the fraud is growing faster than they can prosecute. So what's the play? Healthcare cybersecurity and fraud detection is now a $20+ billion market growing at 15%+ annually. The companies building the AI systems that detect fake claims, verify identities, and flag anomalous billing patterns are selling to buyers who have no choice but to buy. CrowdStrike (CRWD) has expanded into healthcare endpoint security. Palo Alto Networks (PANW) is building the zero-trust architecture that hospitals need. Veeva Systems (VEEV) provides the compliance infrastructure for pharma and healthcare. But the bigger structural trade is that every healthcare fraud crackdown leads to regulatory reform that benefits the insurers. UnitedHealth, Humana, and Cigna all benefit from tighter claims processing because they lose less to fraud. UNH is the largest healthcare company on earth with $22 billion in annual profit. Their stock is up 500% in 10 years. People in my weekly sessions have heard me break down the healthcare fraud cycle before. The enforcement wave creates the regulatory tightening, which benefits the incumbents, which compounds their earnings. Same pattern every time. Free live webinar session every week where I cover all of this. Link is in comments
