Racism against Asians is one of the most normalized forms of racism today. People expect Asians to work hard, stay quiet, never complain, and simply endure. When we speak up about harassment or discrimination, we're often ignored, because complaining doesn't fit the stereotype. I used to think gaming communities would be different. I was wrong. In my experience, reporting harassment targeting Asians rarely leads to any action. Sometimes it feels like the behavior is tolerated, treated as entertainment, or even rewarded, because people assume Asians won't create drama or fight back. Ignoring it isn't neutrality. Silence always sides with the one causing the harm.

I swear the Path of Exile community spends more time on this app complaining about Diablo than they do actually playing PoE. Both offer a different experience. You're allowed to like one or the other but I'll never understand why they try to attempt to belittle others
