One thing I am curious about is why shark meat seems like a rather uncommon delicacy. I've had it once or twice and thought it tasted fine, but the only people who seem to eat sharks as a matter of routine are Asians and don't they mostly just eat the fins (which I always thought was incredibly wasteful)? Is there a reason for that ...
