I’ve seen so much unwarranted Joshua Jefferson hate and I think part of it stems from his on court persona. This is who Jefferson is, even if he seems “emotionless” on the court. He cares. As far as his play, he’s a player that thrives off making his teammates better. There’s no doubt that’s taken a dip recently. It sees to me that as some other players have struggled, Jefferson has taken it upon himself to make the offense. He’s doing too much and that’s a product of the whole team, not himself. Joshua Jefferson is still an All-American even if he hasn’t been at that caliber for a couple of weeks. Regardless of what honor he does or doesn’t get at the end of the season, Jefferson playing at an All-American level is how Iowa State can hit their ceiling. That’s a full team effort.
