This is my Cousin and her scamming experience with Gov. Amuneke Mbah’s tax collectors. “There is a saying in my place that “evulu ozu nwa onye ozo, od’ku ukwu nku”. Sometime last week @eswama1 staff visited our office for enforcement of eswama fee for this year and last year and asked us to go to their office and pay. They estimated and said Im supposed to pay 18k per year. Today I walked into their office to pay and they asked me what business i do and I told them I was a tailor and then they asked for my store address and I told them. Men and brethren these people took their time to go round and capture all the businesses in Enugu and I saw my office on their screen and my mouth opened a bit. Then I was given a shit of paper to take to a lady to generate my demand notice, as she handed it over to me my mouth now fell apart finally. I saw 72k as against the 24k one of them had told me. I asked and they told me my office was registered as a fashion home and not a tailors store. In the past 2 days I have casually strolled pass posts lamenting on the tax policies of the state but as I made that payment today I felt the pain that other SME’s were complaining about. Today became my turn to witness and feel it first hand. Now I have to go back and read those posts and feel what they felt. Gov. Amuneke @PNMbah, good morning.
