Here are the key aspects: - Risk distribution - Rewards - Slashing - Pricing - Operator selection Difference from traditional insurance Unlike external insurance, where users purchase protection separately, Cap guarantees are built into the protocol. Stakers act as guarantors, locking funds before operations begin. In the event of operator default, the collateral is burned, but stakers can claim compensation, which reduces their risks. This is a pre-funded model that does not depend on insurance funds or voting. The role of Symbiotic Symbiotic vaults connect stakers, operators, and the Cap protocol. They act as escrow, verifying the availability of collateral before releasing funds to operators. Slashing is managed through Symbiotic modules, ensuring automatic and transparent punishment. This creates a continuous market for guarantees, where operators compete for support and users receive secure income. ---------------- Why is this important? This system offers stable stablecoins with real returns, protected from risks. It eliminates the need for additional insurance and builds trust through automation.
