@Tamrielan @shinobi602 Nah, it was because they wasted a lot of time training new devs (cuz the company expanded) to use REDEngine and got very behind on their work. UE5 is an industry standard, so it’ll allow them to get to work quicker, and not release an unfinished mess.

CD Projekt Red's new IP "Project Hadar" is progressing well, says CEO Michał Nowakowski: "The team has established the foundations of this entirely new IP[...]designing specific elements that might be included in the game, creating multiple prototypes and implementing them directly in Unreal Engine" ▶️ youtube.com/watch?v=tUNZDH…

@Warllayne @Richard_Vixen Why are we twisting this attempt to redefine mature masculinity into something healthy and balanced into “Yeah no actually all masculinity is inherently evil we need to stop this right now”

@Richard_Vixen Same with “thats not a man, thats a boy. Real men dont do XYZ” Like no actually they do, men dont that. Bad men. boys are kids, stop trying to shift the social responsibility onto them lmao

No. You’re a man - and not a particularly rare one. Maleness is not virtue. This narrative aids the forced conception of men as excluding “bad ones.” Make sure your conception of “real men” includes MANY violent offenders.

@Tamrielan @shinobi602 Part of the reason Cyberpunk was a mess was because it was in REDEngine

@shinobi602 If it's released in UE, I won't buy. It'll be a bigger mess than Cyberpunk 2077 was at launch.

@2doubledeath2 @lettpoupette No clue tbh. But the angle matching is such strong evidence it made me believe it wasn’t a murder based off that alone

@d0ntpanic_ @lettpoupette Interesting, still would someone have the strength to stab themselves twice in the chest? Wouldn't they be weaker to after the first stab?

@2doubledeath2 @lettpoupette It matched the angle. When you stab yourself you kind of stab from an upward angle into your chest. Try it now. It’s most natural. Meanwhile if someone else is stabbing you, especially mid-fight, it’s very different, usually an upper hand stab or straight

@2doubledeath2 @lettpoupette is his girlfriend quick thinking enough to mimic the stab angle of a self stabbing (presumably with resistance from elliot) in a crime of passion?

@lettpoupette You can't stab yourself twice in heart. There's an autopsy report that says he had no hesitation marks. His girlfriend said he went to the bathroom after a breakdown.

The second part of this tweet is only true if you consider your "AI prep" to be one or two specific lines. And that's true with all prep, it's within the nature of chess. Trying to generalize this to some sort of business application is ridiculous.
Dr. Dominic Ng@DrDominicNg

2. Magnus Carlsen - the best player alive - deliberately uses AI less than his competitors. AI-prepped ideas collapse the moment something unexpected happens. - The opponent plays a weird move. - The client pushes back. - The investor asks a question you didn't anticipate.

@hecubian_devil You are sure to be happy again. To know this, which is certainly true, will make you some less miserable now. I have had experience enough to know what I say; and you need only to believe it, to feel better at once. -Also Lincoln Those are the words of a man who’s been through it

@Omni_IQ_Tests @Math_files You misunderstood, I wasn’t saying being good at one meant you had that spatial intelligence. But instead that it was possible to be naturally good at one and naturally bad at another.

@Omni_IQ_Tests @Math_files You’re wrong. Just because you can work and get better at everything doesn’t imply it’s all one kind of intelligence. Let’s not pretend like IQ is a serious metric. Spatial intelligence has been accepted as a form for a while. scientificamerican.com/article/recogn… Give that a read.

@Omni_IQ_Tests @Math_files How does this respond to my argument? It’s not a false dichotomy because you CAN be good at one and not the other, because they’re different types of intelligence. You saying “well someone with high general intelligence could be good at either”- doesn’t contradict my point.

Omni IQ Tests | High-Range Reasoning
@d0ntpanic_ @Math_files It will entirely depend upon what you apply your intelligence to, not on this dichotomy. Assuming someone with high general intelligence, it can go either way. Based on their goals and interests, someone with a high IQ can fail school by not trying at all.
