NBJH 8th-graders are spending the day learning about @NorthbrookGOV @northbrookpl and @nb_parks, shadowing professionals and elected officials during Student Government Day. Tonight, the students will tackle a community problem in mock board meeting.

If you want to know how to use some cool tools in @AppleEdu Keynote, just ask Meadowbrook 3rd-graders. Each student chose a change-maker to profile. After researching and writing, @SraCash showed them how to use line-draw animation to bring their stories to life! #28Empowers

@NUWSoccer players surprised a 6th-grade class with sundaes, a gift for charity and soccer tickets as part of #BuddysHelpers and Random Act of Kindness Week.

Westmoor students built their awareness of single-use plastic and how to recognize, reduce and reuse single-use plastics during this four-week program with scientist-in-residence @JoeyFinRhyme, sponsored by the PTO. The plastic turtle sculpture will live in the school garden.
