@alluringbanks I wish people would actually watch the match. It was fine, much better than in the Rumble. Not worthy of the boos she received. But the people here are not much better tbh.

@Sans86Rk He really helped to bring this more attention. If you had replaced him, I feel this movie would not have had the pull. It saddens me when the likes of Joju, Tovino, Soubin etc. don't get the same pull. Loved the power theme, reminiscent of Vidhdyan and Paleri Manikyam.

@d54pod Also think the movie would have worked without Mammoty too but it was great to watch him play that character..would have loved to see him go the the tumbad route and do some scary make up and stuff..the underlying theme of never ending power play too was good addition too..

@Sans86Rk The horror genre is very diverse, I would definately categorise this as a horror. It even had a few jump scares (that dream sequence!! Wow!). It's more on the fantastical / gothic side, but still a horror imo.

@d54pod I think the movie doesn't come under the horror genre.More like a fantasy folklore .It is similar to the stories once told by grandmothers to kids to pass time ,when fantasy was just a belief away. The movie works on all levels ,technically it is very sound movie.Worth the time.

For real though. Naomi returns. Jordynne Grace from TNA is an entrant. Jade Cargill debuts and becomes and instant star. Liv Morgan returns from injury. We got a main roster sneak peak of Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Stratton. No random one off legends. And even freaking Bayley wins!! And some of you are calling this a flop because Sasha Banks didn't return? Homies - go back and watch all the other women's rumbles. This was THE BEST ONE EVER.

@Sans86Rk Never knew this! Wow I've become so accustomed to calling out remakes based on Malayalam movies, I never thought this wasn't original. I'll have to look up that movie, I always thought Courteney Cox was underated.

@d54pod And they all show how the cases can be handled without the emotional baiting.omg2 is as massy as it can get with Akshay Kumar playing a God..literally..they still did a much better job at it than Neru..I kind of expected more I suppose, but I do get your points though..

@Sans86Rk Of those movies I've only seen Gargi.. I was blown away by that movie, but honestly I think the performance from Sai Pallavi is what really blew me away. I haven't been able to forget her performance in that at all .

@d54pod Yeah it is tough !!in span of one year there were 3 movies that came out which dealt with child abuse and and all are courtroom dramas. Sirf ek baandha,omg2 and gargi.. barring gargi others are not that of a hard watch..

@Sans86Rk I do agree with the payoff being unsatisfying. I thought they would have gotten into Mohan Lals character and his redemption story more. That story was kind of forgotten. I'll look into Section 375 though, never heard of that one! But man watching this subject matter is tough

@d54pod Did you really enjoy it?..I think the actors did were stellar but the movie was not..I really had huge issue with making the lawyer the villain ,along with the rapist, and there was no pay off at the end?Section 375 that is cerebral drama about rape..give that a try.

@Sans86Rk I did enjoy it, maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I thought the fact the whole movie was in the courtroom was somewhat unique and the premise was fascinating. I thought the main villain was the spilt brat kid right?
