@rationalaussie Interest rates are a non-issue. With sound money, the market sets interest rates, not central planners.

The only real way to get our civilisation back on a path where the production of goods and services is valued, rather than secondary industries that don't produce anything (like finance) being valued, is to 1) Return to sound money & 2) Raise interest rates to 10%+

Does anyone have an article explaining specifically why Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme? Had a question from someone, and want to give them a technical explanation of what precisely a Ponzi scheme is and then contextualize Bitcoin. Thanks frens.

@MartinKulldorff @BrittHealthTips Why the sudden influx of sanity now? Vaccine mandates, particularly when inoculation does not prevent spread, were always inhumane and an affont to basic medical ethics.

Vaccine mandates illegal in New Zealand. They are "now calling for the suspended workers to return to their jobs immediately, saying many have given decades of service to their community." newspunch.com/new-zealand-hi…

Chinese third graders are learning multi-variable calculus. Our third graders are being taught that “men can have babies.” This will not end well.

@QuantNetworkDev @DarinFeinstein @chrislarsensf Satoshi, Back, Chaum, Szabo etc knew all about stake based BFT (of which PoS is a subvariant) and its vulnerabilities because they *created* most of it (long before Bitcoin).

@DarinFeinstein Except Btc’s protocol was created before PoS even existed therefore it would be impossible for PoW’s ultimate goal to fix PoS. “People who created their own PoS projects” - good thing @chrislarsensf helped create the BFA protocol used on the XRPL. Imagine not knowing that

Few PoS sidetakers understand this: In PoS EVERYTHING can be changed by coin owners In PoW NOTHING can be changed by coin owners PoS is the existing legacy structure - those with the money can change anything they want The PoW #Bitcoin Network is solution to that 1/2

This is why you see the people who created their own PoS projects trying to change #Bitcoin #Bitcoin was created to put an end to exactly this - someone with all the coins, changing the rules Imagine not knowing that 2/2

@moneromars @TradeClaw That's not true at all. There have been heaps of bugs found (and fixed) in Monero, mostly stemming from the Cryptonote days. One of the more serious ones allowed infinite printing of XMR, was patched here github.com/monero-project…

@PeterSchiff tell me which altcoin has consistently gained vs btc in the past 5 years.. I'll wait ETH ath against btc will make 4 years now on january.. altcoins are made to steal your bitcoin, do not fall for it. I might buy some but the end game is to increase my bitcoin balance.

With over 16,000 alternative cryptos to choose from Bitcoin's market dominance is now below 40% for the first time since June of 2018. With an unlimited supply of easily created cryptos with virtually identical properties, #Bitcoin is losing its first-mover competitive advantage.

@AlgoFamily @Bitcoin You really think the cypherpunks who built Bitcoin weren't aware of their own prior work into stake based BFT systems? It's trivial for a central bank to nuke any PoS system, that's exactly why Bitcoin doesn't use it.

@Bitcoin Sounds great to someone who knows absolutely zero about cryptography and 1 way functions. Quit pulling the shutters over people’s eyes and bring them to the light. No need to use the energy of a country when we can use the energy of 10 houses to power the future economy. $algo

Why is proof of work important? Because humans can break any laws made by humans but none made by physics.

@rationalaussie The 463 day thing is dead. Stock to flow simply is. Bitcoin has a stock to flow ratio, it hardens every 4 years, the market takes another x days/months/years to catch up.

It's trivial for central banks (or the WEF/IMF) to control any PoS consensus system - this vuln is why stake-based BFT was never an option for Satoshi. Get everyone onto Eth, then switch on the IMF monetary policy (KYC, carbon, vax) and it becomes the hip new CBDC for the kids.
