MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is a standard way for AI agents to connect to outside tools and services. It is also a trending topic right now, especially since MCP Apps launched as the first official MCP extension on January 26, 2026. That update made it easier for agents to work with tools. For example: you ask an agent to start a live translated call. Through MCP, it reaches the right tool. @dTelecom can power the voice part underneath: live session, STT, translation, and TTS.
