The Pistons should've traded for someone better than Huerter. It was so obvious at the time. They could have had Ayo Dosunmu! Detroit has all of their future 1sts. Didn't use one. No guarantee they'll ever be in a better position than this year to make a push for the Finals.

Reed was terrible, abused on defense, missing most of his shots, committing the TO that led to the loss, but I also don’t think it’s a coincidence that in the game he played 45 minutes, the offense for the first time all series looked functional, like it did at the end of the season when he started, Sengun was dominant, and we had the win sealed before the choke job, all without KD. This isn’t even commentary on Reed himself, but just on the obvious value of simply having a ball handler on the floor, which makes it even more insane that Ime/Stone went all season with Amen playing out of position. Also, your young lottery pick point guard is less likely to make an unforced error like that under pressure in the playoffs if he’s actually on the court during those same high pressure moments in the regular season instead of riding the pine for Josh Okogie.
