That community hasn’t asked for any favors from the government btw. They are already in hiding and want to be left alone. There’s something to be said about Africans, who have suffered under racism, turning around to inflict the same suffering on another marginalized group.

One failing in Ghanaian society, is the reluctance to confront the uncomfortable parts of their history. When you point to what is actually studied and recorded, people assume you are from a rival group trying to tarnish their image. That mindset has played a part in where the country is today.

UN decision has knuckle heads doing the “Africans sold Africans” bullsh*t again. As if the majority of enslaved Africans that made up the transatlantic slave trade weren’t straight up captured by Europeans on their soil 😒

These niggas will attach themselves to anti blackness, fascism and even rejection of their own goals if it includes rejection of Continental and carribean Africans. Like I said. Embarrassing

@ElikemV One thing to engage in something you know nothing about, another to not do any research but still sticking to your clearly and objectively wrong opinions after you’ve been corrected is crazy🤣🤣🤣

@readJerome The fact that there is more work to do as a continent doesn't mean the dark parts of our history should be glossed over regardless of how uncomfortable. What chance do we have fighting necolonialism if we can't even demand what was overtly wrong to be righted in some way?

You must, as a person, defeat the instinct to speak on matters you are less informed on simply because you are popular. No one will fault you for keeping your mouth shut about subjects you know little about. It is better than misinforming.
