There is *nothing* you care about that survives a 6-3 Republican court for a generation. Nothing. I don’t know how many times the Court has to prove that to people before liberals unify and act.

Trump getting “kicked off” the ballot in Illinois reminds me of the time Han shot his blaster shot at Darth Vader. Spirited, but completely ineffectual given the circumstances. The Supreme Court won’t even ask them any questions.

Also, remember when people were saying it was worth it for the DC Circuit to take its time because that made it less likely that SCOTUS would hear the case at all? It didn’t. People really have to stop treating the Republican SCOTUS as a good faith actor.

@d_fascist Unless they thread the needle and say Trump was immune from his actions regarding the 2020 election only. I don't see how they can do that, but I also thought they'd would've expedited this, IF they were going to hear it all.
