I keep asking, just in case someone has a shortcut.
A detour.
A trapdoor.
An express lane labeled “skip the hard part.”
So far… no luck.
Because whether it’s a tough conversation, a leadership decision you didn’t ask for, or a moment when everything feels heavier than it should, the answer is almost always the same.
