Consulting question. A client sits on a proposal for three years and then says "We're ready to move forward. We need it in three weeks." It's normally a 6-week timeline to complete the work. Aside from a belly laugh, what is your best response?

You’ve seen those special moments in swimming. Tonight I got to watch a young lady from @AggieSwimDive get her first trials cut. It was epic. She cried. Her team cheered. I’ve seen the same thing happen with a first Juniors, Futures, and Sectional cuts. And any other time standard you can imagine. Even a kids first heat winner ribbon in summer league. This is why lots of us are here. Not because of the cuts and achievements specifically. But a chance to watch the hard work pay off. It’s special to watch someone work hard and achieve. It doesn’t always work that way, but when it does, it’s amazing.

Shoutout to all of the parents that drive swimmers to practice at 5:00 AM day in and day out just so they can jump in an oversized bathtub, sprint around for a few hours, and then fall asleep in the car on the way home... You never know, they could break a world record someday.
