🚨 Under Carlo Ancelotti, some of the Real Madrid players went to Ibiza after games instead of returning to Madrid.
Some were often absent from training and did whatever they wanted. They wanted to repeat that with Xabi Alonso, but it did not work.
This has angered the entourage of some of the players, who feel Xabi is meddling in the affairs of the players.

Must have seen about 100 fantasyland stories over the years regarding multi million pound takeovers at Rangers.
Normally best ignored.
HOWEVER
This story regarding the owner of the San Francisco 49ers being interested in an RFC takeover appears to have a bit more smoke this time:
1️⃣ Rangers AGM in December: director Alastair Johnson (based in America) states that after a meeting with Jim Ratcliffe (who owns Ineos and invested in Man United): Rangers would be interested in 'formations' i.e. multi-club ownership structure
“In terms of the new CEO coming in from Manchester United, I would look for him to provide a lot of advice in that regard, and how we basically improve our bottom line by collaborating.”
2️⃣ New CEO (Patrick Stewart) comes in, essentially says the club is a shambles but still needs an external company to carry out the review for him. Appoints Sportsology - a New York based consultancy company - to lead the review.
3️⃣ On the Sportsology website, they boast a number of companies they've worked with. Including both Ineos and San Francisco 49ers.
4️⃣ On the page dedicated to the turnaround at the 49ers, they state they implemented a structure closely related to Premier League soccer teams. Including the appointment of a performance director who oversees the entire medical and performance departments. Today, the Rangers CEO announces they are looking to hire a performance director to oversee the entire football and medical departments.
5️⃣ San Francisco 49ers Paraag Marathe, is now the Chairman of Leeds United, following the 49ers Enterprises takeover of Leeds in 2023 - which would fit in with the 'multi club' model that Johnston spoke about 2 months ago.
Could be nothing, but to me there is enough of a trail there to suggest that there could be some truth in it, and maybe some of the Rangers shareholders - who have funded millions of losses over the years - are on the verge of selling up.

You can sign unlimited youth players under PSR and FFP. They are not capped. Chelsea, even pre Todd put a huge emphasis on signing youth players that don't count towards PSR limits. Those players however do count as a positive when you go to sell them. So they've effectively farmed in a load of youth that is not recorded as a loss and then sold them as a profit. This is drying up now as they have sold most of their youth and 'academy' players of value.
Newcastle could exploit this too but as it takes a number of years to buy a youth player, train them, loan them and then sell them for a profit.
Reminder that Newcastle can spend unlimited money on infrastructure, youth and other non football related activities that generate more revenue. They have a lot of options. It's just they can't run out and drop hundreds of millions on transfers in the short term.

Honestly how the f**k are these motherf**kers able to sign 20 players a window but Newcastle are forced sell a promising player in Yankuba Minteh and a homegrown talent in Elliot Anderson because of Premier League PSR?
The system is so broken and in favour of the Top 6.
