@replacedguts23 Unfortunately, not. It's extremely difficult for self published authors to go "wide" when Amazon controls most of the market share for ebook/audio.

@Katlamos Oh man! Someone on FB calculated the total hours for all books and it was like 280+ without Crucible. At normal speed and 8 hours per day, it was like a month of listening lol.

@puf Yeah, they do. Proofing is an endless process. People still find errors on AO1 and its been out like 10 years now. 🤷

@da3strikes Exactly! Btw: I noticed a significant number of typos (double words, missing words, etc) in Timeless. I always report those from by Kindle, and the UI for that is actually pretty good. Do you even get such reports though? Or do they go to /dev/null at Amazon?

@puf I've thought the same for a minute. Especially when digital distribution is king, page count is sort of meaningless. Pretty easy to game.

@da3strikes I really wish we'd measure book length in word count, rather than page count. You'd still score in the stephenson/sanderson range with that, but it'd be easier to compare. :-)

@puf Lol, this is Amazon's "estimate." The print will actually be about the same size as Timeless.

@da3strikes Pre-ordered... of course. :-) However, we're gonna need you to step away from Stephenson level page counts, Travis. Heck... you're approaching Sanderson's, and while I wish you that level of sales - I'd appreciate more humane book lengths (and more frequent releases). 😂🫂
