Shah Reza Pahlavi of Iran was not “woke.” He didn’t join the Arabs in anti-Israel wars, didn’t cry about Palestine, didn’t oppose the Vietnam war etc. Iran was his only focus. Reminder: Momentum shifts back and forth, but this is a fight that the Islamic Republic cannot win, only prolong. There is no going back and nothing will ever be the same again.
