Be VERY suspicious of this argument and watch who makes it. Trump is not on the ballot. He has committed espionage, staged a coup, and is an ongoing threat. He is deeply tied to organized crime. The refusal to prosecute him on previous offenses led us to this horrific juncture.

I’ve always found endless predictions of US decline laughable. Khrushchev said the USSR would bury us. Oops! Intellectuals predicted Japan would crush us economically in the 80s. Uhh, no. And China? Please. Now it’s domestic division? Take a breath, y’all. The kids are alright🇺🇸
Josh Kraushaar@JoshKraushaar
"The divisions in U.S. domestic politics appear to the Kremlin as signs of weakness. They reinforce perceptions in Kremlin circles that the United States is now in inexorable decline, a narrative that is embraced and propagated by Russian officials, media, and analysts."
