Good teams overcome their star players’ injuries, bad teams do not
Jalen Williams and Isaiah Hartenstein and others are perpetually out for the Thunder, doesn’t affect OKC at all
It’s about coaching and understanding roles

Paolo is a different player and flourishes with shooters around him. 0 adjustments made suggs and franz players went out. This is an indictment on

I've been saying for years that Mosely wasn't going to be the long term coach for the team. However, it doesn't sit right with me that this is the most talented roster he has had and they played really well when bought in this year without the franchise player.

@FmrTankCommandr @Dalic93 and Franz/Suggs out. Besides the clear lack of offensive mindset everyone already knew Mose had. Its fair for Paolo to want a more functional offense...as every other team has one.

@FmrTankCommandr @Dalic93 Im going to push back a little bit here. The team was playing well right before Paolo got injured. It took some adjustment through first 5 games to get everyone right. P5 included. And it was showing. The issue is coaching failing to adjust playstyle with Paolo returning

@omartheomar_ tbf G was a good shooter until his last year here (I think the year before he was above 40%). I think the injuries just piled up for him at that time

I’m honestly not even upset. Everyone’s expectations the teams expectations , just throw all that out the window. This team isn’t cohesive.. they don’t look tied together offensively, they aren’t coached well enough and the defensive tenacity is a thing of the past.

@ChrisJanssen I mean we started to lose the lead when AB became selfish and stopped passing. Same with Bane. This is a coaching issue and has been the entire season. By committee does not work when you have someone as talented as P5 even with his struggles he needs the reps

This to me is the most disappointing loss of the entire season.
We were winning the entire way until the end, then suddenly couldnt get stops, couldn’t buy a bucket, couldn’t rebound, nothing.
When you have a lead the entire game against a team you’ll be competing with for seeding and you’re missing so many guys to injuries, you just have to find a way to finish the job.
This one hurts. 😔

Paolo Banchero just isn't the player he thinks he is (at least not yet). He needs to focus even more on the playmaking, passing and slashing. Right now, so many of his jumpers are just gifts for the opposition.
