Ferrari has just officially unveiled its first ever all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce.
• Starting price: $640,000
• Interior co-designed with Apple's former head of design, Jony Ive
• Range: 280 miles (expected EPA)
• Peak charging speed: 350kW
• 122 kWh battery
• 1,050 horsepower
• 0-60mph: 2.4s
• 800v
• Four-door four-seater
• Four electric motors
• OLED screens
• Weight: 4,982 lbs
• Front motors spin to 30,000 rpm, rears hit 25,500 rpm
• Car uses an accelerometer to capture real vibrations from the electric motors & rear chassis. An algorithm filters out unpleasant frequencies and amplifies only the more “musical” sounds. This can be heard inside and outside the car.
• Paddle shifter on steering wheel changes how aggressively torque is delivered, with five different levels
• The trunk has 21.1 cubic feet of space, the largest luggage capacity the company has ever offered
• 197.6 inches long, about as long as a Tesla Model S
U.S. deliveries start in Q2 2027. More photos in the thread below:

@Ladylaw31256058 PE is a simple concept but unfortunately is not a simple diagnosis. They are missed all the time. If that’s what he died from (and is a fair guess) I wouldn’t point too many fingers

Im going to make this comment and probably be chastised for it.
Kyle Busch was in a Chevy simulator and began coughing up blood. My MD bros opine he passed from a PE. (Pulmonary embolism, also known as a blood clot to the lung).
THESE CAN BE CAUGHT BEFORE BECOMING FATAL!
Regardless, WHY didnt he have a full work-up 11 days ago when he requested a physician at Watkins Glen, especially given who he is?
Serious questions need to be answered.

Asked Ken Paxton tonight whether he'd expect financial help from DC Republicans in the general election.
"Look, I want to cooperate with them," he said. "I hope they cooperate with me. I’m ready to unite, and we’ve got to make sure that we have a majority in the Senate.” #TXSEN

Talarico isn’t just weird. He’s straight up repulsive.
Texas is a deeply religious state. Church attendance stays high and traditional Christian values run strong across White, Hispanic, and Black communities.
His version of Christianity sounds less like real faith and more like heresy to most of us.
Dude’s a charlatan. Texans are gonna reject him hard.
English

@LisaMarieBoothe We’ll know by next week. Paxton will win the runoff. Turnout will be low for this minor election, but if he puts up big numbers anyway you’ll know he is generating enthusiasm.

@realJeremyCarl “Preferred” is a good way to say it. Voters are sad, angry, frustrated, fed up, or just tired of the “same old”. Each voter has their own motivations. But there is no doubt that republican rank and file voters don’t prefer Cornyn any more. And they are entitled to vote him out.
English

GOP establishment senators whining about the Trump Paxton endorsement are barking up the wrong tree.
Despite all of the built-in advantages, Cornyn had, GOP voters preferred Paxton.
The Senators shoukd consider why that is rather than blaming Trump for their own unpopularity.

🚨 A barking dog may sound harmless to some people…
But to others during prayer, it feels deeply disrespectful.
Now a much bigger debate is erupting in America 🇺🇸
Should society be expected to adjust around religious beliefs?
Or should religion adapt to everyday public life?
Where do YOU stand?

🚨 This might genuinely be breaking news 🚨
Tristan Tate just publicly called Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni “kinda hot”
Totally headline material 🔥🇮🇹

Can’t lie, @GiorgiaMeloni is kinda hot.

@data_republican Exactly. Don’t worry about a weak democrat in Texas. Give the republican voters the candidate they want and they’ll show up strong enough in November.

What non-Texans don’t get is that travel between these three cities is extremely common especially for work. I was in Austin two weeks ago. Going to Houston this week. Will be in Austin in two weeks. A train that cuts my commute in half would be amazing.

Texas has “4 of the top 10” biggest cities in the country and yet doesn’t have high speed rail that looks like this:

@bwaltens Time to put this entire mask myth to bed. You want to wear your security blanket at home, knock yourself out. But doing public business in a public place? Take the mask off.

NEW: SCOTX Chief Justice Jimmy Blacklock is demanding answers from a Dallas judge over her courtroom mask mandate, warning he is “aware of no legitimate basis” for requiring masks or health disclosures to enter a Texas courtroom.
Blacklock gave Judge D’Metria Benson until Friday to justify the policy or withdraw.
