I genuinely wasn’t expecting this 😭 That one tweet brought 300 new Steam wishlists for MONji in just a day. For a solo developer, that’s honestly huge. Every wishlist helps the game get discovered, so thank you all so much for giving my little desktop pet a chance ❤️

Make that 88 copies. I just bought the game for myself and 10 of my friends. 3 years of work and you shipped it. That alone puts you ahead of 99% of people who ever wanted to make a game. If you're up for it, I'd love to offer some free marketing help. Keep up the great work ❤️

@okadakiyomi_en LLM was used to help develop the game (I'm an artist with little experience in code) and texts placeholders, that's about it. All assets and sounds are handcrafted by me :)

@Sproutpies That's something I've been thinking of too, but probably not on release! There are evolution trees and it would be hard to deal with. Maybe a whole other game mode ? We'll see
